Hi Everyone, I'm completely addicted to my phone and need to get rid of it. I've tried minimalistic apps, and I just find a way around it every time. I need something with calling and texting but I don't want any apps aside from GPS or Google Maps. I don't mind having two devices for this, but I'd rather not spend a ton of money (under $300 altogether). Are there any devices or ideas that stand out? I thought about Punkt because I think you could use hotspot for a gps device, but I'm not sure.

Hi Everyone, We took our dog in to urgent care today because in the last two weeks she just hasn't been herself at all and I was really worried. They did chest x rays and blood work and we found out that she has pleural effusion (not severe but enough to be of concern), arrythmia, and that she has non-regenerative anemia. No one will give it to us straight and they've just referred us to more testing but just the echocardiogram is $1k and she needs more than that to determine the cause and then treatment plan. She's an 11yo pitbull. She is still energetic but declining and drinking a lot and very fatigued. I need some perspective. Is this treatable or like heart failure or maybe even cancer?

I was planning to study at Camino Barcelona for 1 year to receive a student visa and improve my Spanish. However, I've read some pretty bad reviews and since every program requires you to pay the course in full in order to receive your visa enrollment letter it feels especially risky to me. I'm not a wealthy person and losing nearly 3k if my visa is rejected for some reason would be pretty catastrophic for me. Does anyone have any experience with studying at this school long term? What was your experience?

Ladies, what's a bad period for you? Because mine is so bad to an onlooker they would swear I had gone into labor. It is excruciating. My legs are so heavy and they hurt in a way I can't explain to the point where I just can't walk and have to crawl. Yes my uterus hurts and my back hurts, but the pain goes through my whole body. I get some relief from getting into a very hot tub, but I have EDS & Dysautonomia and that flares up my Dysautonomia so I start feeling faint very quickly. I have some small deer skull mounts, some small coyote skulls, small baby American gator skull, and a gemsbok skull and horns (the biggest thing I have). Hi Everyone, I feel like I have almost everything I need to apply for my student visa, but the current political climate and other people have made me feel very anxiousv and like I would be absolutely crazy to apply without a lawyer.

My Situation:

I am a U.S. citizen applying for a one-year student visa at the Spanish Consulate in NYC on March 25th.

My course is for a professional dance program that starts in May 2025 and requires 25 hours of training per week.
