Hey All, I wanted to setup a basic server

  1. run my photo backups (600GB+ and growing)
  2. movie server for the home
  3. running torrents. I was on my local FB group and someone posted this and I was wondering if it's worth the 450$ price?

"This is a compact NAS and virtualization server. It is currently set up with TrueNAS Scale, but would work great with Proxmox. The HDDs are set up in a RAIDZ2 array for a total of 21TB of usable storage. The HDDs are refurbished enterprise drives. They show no SMART warnings or errors. They were also checked using Stablebit Scanner software within the last month and are in good working order. There are also two mirrored SSDs for virtual machine storage

Recently moved and realized I have a lot of canned food items - beans, soup etc that I was collecting for no reason, and need to find a good reputable food pantry or donation site to drop them off.

Recommendations?

I have been fostering a sweet old English bulldog for a month or so through one of the local rescues and she's a sweetheart. The rescue posted her application last week and they have had some great applications and they all sound perfect for her - they have or had bulldogs before, ready to train her etc etc and she will have siblings. What are some things that you like to ask the perspective applicants to find the perfect home?

Loneliness is a state of mind

It's something we wish we didn't have

It creeps to you often disguised

After a high of a win you realize you don't have anyone to share with

Loneliness is a state of being

It's something no one wishes to be

It comes to you in tiptoeing

After you come home to realize there is no one to welcome you

Loneliness is a state of existence

It's something you wish you didn't reside in

It surrounds you in deathly silence

After a while you start to talk to yourself to keep company

Loneliness is the way of life

Too wrapped up inside to even struggle

Silently screaming for s

Hey all, Sorry for the rambling long post will put a TLDR at end.

I decided I want to foster animals through my local spca, not sure what animal I am fine with both cats and dogs, never had any other animals as pets.

Backstory - My only pet was when I was 5 or 6 and it was a street puppy who someone stole from my house and traumatized me enough to never get one, my dad (travelled a lot so had houses in different cities) while I lived with mom in one city and he had a lot of dogs that I would enjoy playing with during my summer vacations, mainly taking them out for walks and giving food/treats but had the house caretaker do most of the work.

Q1) I am not sure if I know what all will go in
