Parents what are you putting iron in for your small ones? My LO recently started an iron supplement and he hates it. I’ve tried putting it in milk, oatmeal, and even juice. Oatmeal was the best response but after two days he was on to me and refused it.

We’re pregnant with baby number two! Big brother is Elias. Having a hard time with boy names because I love Elias’ so much. We aren’t sure what we’re having yet but looking for more ideas. If it’s a girl she’ll be Adeline (it’s a family name).
Our front runner is Levi. I love Ezra but my husband is a no. Names that we like but can’t use: Noah, Ellis, Silas, Elijah.
Looking to mix up the daycare snacks I’ve been sending! What is everyone supplying for snack?
Looking for support. Our 17 month old still sleeps with us, starts in the crib (side rail off and pushed up against our bed) and then crawls in with us at his first wake up. Still wakes up 2-3x a night and nurses.
He’s a big 17 month old and lately has started kicking more when he wakes up. My husband lately has started pressing to move him into his own room, but I just don’t feel like he/I are ready for this. Our bedroom is at the top of the stairs and I’m afraid for his safety even if they are secured. It also means that when he wakes up/cries that I will have to physically get out of bed and either go to him or help him to us.
If I’m being honest, a part of me isn’t ready to move him be
Has anyone taken their reactive dogs to daycare? We took our pups for awhile and they loved it and the staff but then one of them became people/fear reactive and we had to stop. He snapped at a daycare employee who didnt respect his space (she moved his food while he was eating).
I'd like to start taking them again but I'm afraid they won't allow a dog who is reactive like this. We've done okay with guests in our home and he is comfortable in a muzzle but I've never seen a dog at daycare wearing a muzzle.
Has anyone taken anything that doesn't impact their supply? LO came home from daycare with another virus and this one is hitting me harder. I've seen that taking some things can impact supply and I really need to avoid that as I'm a "just enough-er".
LO recently turned 6mos and it seems like nursing has become an extreme sport. He kicks, pushes off of me, pulls my hair (too short to pull back), rolls off, and yanks my nipples.
And he doesn't have teeth yet. I imagine this will get worse before it gets better.
If you're a parent, what do you do for teacher appreciation week? If you're a teacher, what is the best way for parents to show their appreciation?
Final question, I'm a first time mom and I don't know the etiquette around daycare providers? Are you doing something for your daycare teachers?
In a moment of desperation when LO was two weeks old we got two weighted sleep swaddles (Dreamland) and combined with a warmed up bassinet he started sleeping much better. Now I have the issue that he's outgrown the swaddle and I'm debating whether I should continue to use the next size up. I would hate to create a dependency on weighted sleep items but at 11 weeks old I'm also desperate for any extra sleep we can achieve.
Are any other parents using weighted sleep aids? I'd love to hear some thoughts on it.
In about a month we're moving south and will be without our belongings for likely about two weeks. I'm not sure what to do with my frozen pumped milk! I have several gallon sized ziploc baggies in my deep freezer and it will break my heart if I have to throw them away.
I have been considering transporting them on dry ice and then sticking them in the regular freezer when we get there but I'm not sure if that is okay?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any recommendations?
