I'm currently in a ongoing position. If I apply successfully for another ongoing position, do I have to resign at my current school or is the ongoing automatically transferred? Also, will there be another 1-year probation period at the new school? Cheers.

Dear VIC Secondary teachers, I am wondering how long it takes from the application closing date to potentially receiving an interview invitation. Little worried that I haven't got any calls. Has this process been delayed a bit this year due to the pandemic?
