Hello! I'm hoping to upgrade my pc that was built in 2018. After talking it through with someone over at pcpartpicker, I thought I'd post the list here for consideration as well. Also, not sure when's the best time to snag parts. Now? Wait for deals? I'm new to this so bear with me. Some of the parts are pretty old, but I'm hoping to use the motherboard until it dies so I don't have to buy another windows key haha. I'm unsure of the video card. I don't understand all the different options and what's better for all the different price points.

I've mostly just used this PC as a lightroom workhorse and whatever games on steam I've felt like trying out, which is usually openworld sandbox stuf

Here we are again with two versions as suggested. Hopefully I'm getting closer. Thanks again, everyone!

True Grit meets How to Train Your Dragon in DRACONIUM, a 95k adult fantasy set in a world where magic is dying and what little remains is siphoned from the bones of dragons and other magical creatures. It will appeal to readers who love the found family and gritty adventure dynamics of Kill the Beast by Serra Swift and Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher, as well as the hard magic system found in [comp].

Rory has spent her life entrenched in the mines desperate to claw free of the life she’s been dealt. She dreams of finally leaving her dilapidated hometown, getting Ma to a heal

True Grit meets How to Train Your Dragon in DRACONIUM, a 95k standalone with series potential. It could sit on a shelf beside Serra Swift’s KILL THE BEAST, T. Kingfisher’s NETTLE AND BONE, and [another comp].

In a world where magic is dying and what little remains is siphoned from the bones of dragons, Rory has spent her life entrenched in the mines, desperate to claw free of the life she’s been dealt. When she’s not hammering drill steels into rock and igniting blast powder, she’s taking care of Ma and dreaming of the day she can afford a doctor able to treat Ma’s virulent disease. Her answer lurks in the surrounding canyons where there’s a scrawny dragon she leaves bait for. All she has

Fill disclosure, I'm sill noodling with the manuscript and likely won't be querying for a while yet, but I am going to be attending a conference soon and meeting with a literary agent (not to pitch, just to get some feelers out there to see if what I'm doing is actually working), and I just don't want to make a fool of myself. I know this is on the longer side, and I think it's because of the sentences I used to describe some of the other major characters, so I'm curious if I should leave that out or not. What I have learned is that queries are hard. I've already trimmed 100 words myself, ugh. Anyway, without further ado, here we go!

As the title says, my mom lost her dog traumatically three days before her 65th birthday. She lives alone and has mental health struggles and I’m worried for her. Her dog, a sweet eleven year old golden retriever named Mario, was her entire world. He was happy and healthy, energetic, playful, and was just doing his normal thing yesterday when he suddenly launched into an intense seizure that ultimately ended his life. He took his last breath in my mom’s arms. She’s understandably a wreck.

Being New Year’s Day and in the midst of a snow storm, we had no way of burying him, so we found a 24hr vet that was open and drove through horrible weather to take him somewhere that would cremate him. T
