I have AirPods Pro Gen 2 and have had many other AirPods prior to this. For all that time, when I take AirPods out of my ears, they simply stop playing, which is the behavior I want. But recently they have started handing off music playing to my iPhone when I take them out. This is particularly embarrassing when it happens at work.

Has anybody else seen this? Anyone know how to return to the old behavior? Could it be happening if I put the AirPods in the case too quickly?

I have had my Alexa app linked to my ADT account for years now to control my security system by voice control. However, for the last few days when I try to arm the system I'm told that the skill must be enabled. Of course, it's been enabled for years.

So I go into the Alexa app and it tells my that the linking between the accounts has expired. Three times now, I have relinked the accounts and been able to arm ADT. But just a few hours later the accounts are again unlinked.

This seems like some sort of problem between Amazon and ADT. I'm not even sure who to report it to or how. Has anyone else seen this? Maybe even have a solution?

The newest Surface Pens have a hexagonal shape and only come in 4 colors. The older pens are cylindrical and come in more colors. You can get a bundle of the Surface Pro 7, type cover and the older pen, but if you look in the specs, it doesn't show the Surface Pro 7 as supported. You have to hunt around a bit on the MS Store website to find the newer pen, but it does show the Surface Pro 7 as supported. So my questions are:

Does the newer pen really offer anything other than a new shape?

Are the older pens really incompatible with the Surface Pro 7?

I've worked with several version control systems, including CVS and Subversion. Every one of them use DAGs, as far as I can tell. I've never seen a system that worked any other way.

So when I read articles making a big deal about them, I think, "So what? It's not like there's another way to do it."

Is there another way to do it? What am I missing here?
