For me it's Astrea's cool out of the box builds. Makes for a very interesting competitive scene in NA.

Kings of the Old World: Qualifier #2 This weekend, 15GMT at www.twitch.tv/esoctv
clips.twitch.tv/HungryTallDragonflyCeilingCat...Will this qualifier be casted? Where can I watch it?
Watching them play I learned a lot of important details, mainly about how to use cavalry: like Hera would focus most of his apm to spam the opponent economy with raids after full booming, Nicov would consistently hold key positions and retreat to heal up since cavalry is expensive and fast, and Viper mostly as a transition/surprise tool (to exploit an economical power spike and switch his army composition). In AoE3 a top player like Kaiserklein would use cavalry to catch up armies and keep them busy even if he doesn't get the best trades.
So is there any top-player style that you like? Have you managed to adapt something from them?
Watching Kaiserklein I noticed that, while he has good micro with early raids, he exploits cavalry in a very AoE3-like but also unique way. After forcing a fight in a position, he then kinda uses cavalry as a tankier infantry: he sieges buildings, focuses on macro and sacrifices units to make time for his army mass support and cavalry reinforcements for flankings.
In the AoE2 scene, Hera would use cavalry to spam the opponent economy with raids after full booming, Nicov would consistently hold key positions and retreat to heal up since cavalry is expensive and fast, and Viper mostly as a transition/surprise tool (to exploit an economical power spike and switch his army composition). Compar
I mean, Aztec champions are cheaper, easier to mass and already beat most infantries.
