I am seeking a simple way to display the Window_name of a current 'in focus' Window. I want to display the Window_Name in a conkybar. I current keep getting a SPEC VIOLATION: full text is NULL! Error Message. Below is the command I think ought to work (note it makes use of xdotool):
{
`"full text": "${execi 1 xdotool getwindowfocus getwindowname |awk '{print $3}'}",`
`"background": "\#2F343F",`
"color": "\#BF616A",
"separator": true,
"separator_block_width": 0
},
TIA.
Does anyone know of a method by which I can open an application in a designated dwm workspace and have the focus open along with the application in the 'designated' location?
Not all crucial battles are well remembered...
