Just finished the beta, for clarity, I did not play the first game, but I wanted to give my feedback as someone who enjoys the genre.
The combat generally felt good though I do feel the lack of stamina management is a weird choice as that always feels like a key aspect of souls to me. I had a few issues where I would press R1 but not attack and it was never clear to me why this was happening.
Atmosphere and aesthetics are fine, nothing amazing but not terrible either and I would say the same for voice acting too.
UI I thought was pretty bad. It feels like they have tried to be too minimalist at the cost of keeping the player informed. There were so many times were I became poisoned withou
Hi all, I am trying to sign up with Experian to check my credit report in preparation for applying for co-ownership to purchase a property.
However, when I tried to create my account at Experian it is saying they cannot verify my details.
I believe the issue is related to my address, it is formatted as something like '1A Apartment Building'. But when you enter the postcode on most websites it auto populates as 'A1 Apartment Building'.
I normally just select whatever option populates and have had no issues, but when I did this for Experian (choosing A1 Apartment Building) it is saying it cannot verify me.
Has anyone experienced anything similar and knows how to resolve this? It says I can
Hey all, I'm looking for any suggestions for science fiction novels/novellas that feature spaces or regions that have been altered in unusual ways, such as The Zone from Roadside Picnic or Area X from The Southern Reach series. (I haven't read the latest Southern Reach book yet, but will get to it).
Things like the laws of physics changing or breaking down or unusual effects on wildlife and the environment. I'm not looking for stories where this is caused by real world things like radiation but something speculative, and the weirder the better.
I loved that aspect of the settings mentioned above and have also read Borne and Dead Astronauts by VanderMeer and Lovecraft's The Colour Out of Sp
I'm really curious to hear how visible this series is on other people's homepages.
It had pretty much zero visibility on mine and I really had to go looking for it. Surprising, seeing as I'm exactly the kind of person this is aimed at (watch a lot of sci-fi & fantasy, have activity on Amazon gaming etc). So I would expect the algorithm to know that.
Makes me slightly concerned this show will not get the promotion it needs. Compared with Love, Death, + Robots which was all over Netflix when a new season released.
Hey all, I'm looking for a single player turn based RPG where you only control your own character, not a party. I'm not looking for suggestions like Baldur's Gate 3 where you can choose to play solo but games where this is the intended way to play. I'm also not looking for real time with pause RPGs.
Looking for typical RPG mechanics like quests, combat, gear, upgrading etc. Any setting is grand and I'm fine with older games too. PC only. Thanks!
I'm looking for third person games that feature underwater sections on PC or Switch. Examples of what I'm looking for would be the final biome in Returnal or the underwater sections in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
It can be all of the game or just part of it, but the more the better!
I am not looking for any first person/2D/isometric games, even if you think they're great and they otherwise fit, this is just what I'm in the mood for. I'm also not looking for anything where you control a party, I just want a single character.
Games I've already played that could fit this criteria (in addition to the two above):
GTA V, all Elder Scrolls, all Fallout, Star Wars: Jedi (both games), Another Cra
Looking for a new Android phone costing £200-£300 SIM free. Things I care about:
- Battery life/charging speed
- Reliability
- Overall performance & speed
- Sound volume/quality with both speaker & Bluetooth (my phone is basically a podcast machine more than anything)
Things I don't care about:
- Screen (I never watch videos on my phone)
- Camera (I have an actual camera so hardly use my phone for this)
- Gaming
Any advice appreciated! I had a Moto G6 Play that I absolutely loved, replaced it with a Moto G31 which has just never felt as good to me despite better specs, so I'm slightly reluctant to get another Motorola but am open to being convinced.
I could push the budget to £400 for
I currently use a geek vape aegis legend with the z tank but I grabbed a few geek bar disposables to keep in my desk at work and have found I really like them.
For cost, sustainability, and being able to set my own nic levels, I don't want to fully switch to disposables but I would like to know if there is a reusable vape that will give me a similar experience to the geek bars.
I'm really looking for something that gives me the low amount of vapour they have in combination with the big flavour hit. Any input is appreciated, cheers!
I'm looking for suggestions for single player PC games that feature guns based on real world weapons and real ammunition types.
The games can also feature sci-fi weapons as long as some of the weapons are also based on real world guns. I would like the game to also include real ammunition types like 9mm, 5.56 etc rather than generic 'pistol ammo' or 'rifle ammo' etc. Bonus points if the guns can be modded and you can switch ammo types, such as being able to use hollow point etc.
Examples that I've played that do this well would be Fallout: New Vegas and Wasteland 2. An example of what I'm not looking for would be Cyberpunk 2077, as the guns are largely not based on realistic designs and t
I've just finished my first playthrough of Armored Core VI (NG++ so I've done all the endings). I loved the atmosphere and enjoyed the gameplay but I generally like a bit more freedom and downtime in games.
Is there anything with a similar vibe i.e. sci-fi with soundscape style soundtrack, brutalist/industrial architecture, advanced tech etc that is more focused on exploration and less on frantic combat?
Doesn't have to include giant robots as that's not something I'm really in to. I don't want something totally without combat, just something that includes other activities that aren't intense fights.
PC preferred but Switch and PS4 are also options.
In case it's helpful: Games/series I
My latest ship build, the Tiamat, the perfect compact ship for combat. Full parts list and stats included.
reddit.com/gallery/16gq97nI have so many hours sunk in this game, a lot of it on board my ship, but I've been pressing up or down to set power levels incrementally and found it very clunky, this is making combat so much more fluid, so posting for those who missed it like me.
A question I have about the map, can you uncover the complete map in each act, so that there is nowhere that is obscured?
This is the first Larian game I have played fully, so I am not sure how it works in their games. I am currently in act 2, and feel like I have explored fairly well, but there are still large sections of the map I can't see for both the main act 1 map and >!the underdark.!<
I am not sure if I need to keep pushing against the edges to find new paths as I can't see anything clearly on the act 1 maps that looks like a way forward, or if I would be wasting my time, thanks!
I'm pretty much towards the end of the game, and am cleaning up areas/rumours that I've missed.
I'll mark my question as a spoiler: >!Can you explore Jedha without having Merrin tag along?!<
I don't really like having companions around, but it seems that every time I try to explore this planet (outside of the first few areas) this companions spawns in, does this change after completing the story?
