I'm exiting the league I've been part of for two decades. We commoditize everything in the league, so I'd like to sell my team rather than be replaced.
The league is designed to mirror managing a real MLB team. Details:
- 16 teams, two leagues, four divisions; leagues/divisions are realigning for 2027; leagues/divisions typically hold for ~10 years
- League managed on CBS
- Yearly buy-in is only about $120; half league fees, half prize pool
- MLB players are drafted to contracts that can last up to four years
- Very deep rosters: >30 player majors roster plus drafted prospects (late value picks go a very long way)
- Prospects can be drafted from anywhere: international, college, high
