Has someone successfully transferred their phone number from one Xfinity account to another? Xfinity helped me set up a new account today and gave me a temporary phone number. Told me someone will be reaching out in 24 hrs to have my actual phone number transitioned from an older account to a new one.

I am unable to activate the new temporary phone account in the meantime. Which is fine, cause my older number is working. I'm worried I might wake up tomorrow with no service on the older phone number meanwhile the temporary number isn't activated. Worse they might simply lose my original phone number that I had for years. Has anyone successfully gone through the process?

How exactly does one cast Windows laptop to their TCL TV? My TV doesn't show up on the cast list on my laptop, despite being on the same Wifi network.

And no I don't want to cast your Google Chrome or YouTube to my TV, I need to cast the entire laptop. I've spent over an hour figuring this out now and unable to.

Just got the dashcam and before I open my box, wanted to ask around if it's possible to use the HRV's USB ports to power the Viofo A229+. Since the car doesn't have a 12V outlet in the front, I wanted to know what's the best way to go about to plug in the front and the rear cams with the wires provided within the kit, without having to hardwire the dash cam.

Would appreciate any input for people who have used Viofo with front+ rear cams successfully through the USB ports.

Applied for my passport renewal last week and immediately received an email my application was rejected as I did not upload my photo and signature on the Website.

Well I DID upload my photo and signature, the only mistake I made was I pasted my photo on the print out of my application -cause it clearly asked to do it on the form itself and even on the check list. When I called VFS, they said why did you paste your photograph on the form, now your application will be returned to you and you have to start the entire process again, fill out a new application. He further said after I upload my photo and signature - they should by default come on my application form and I had to submit a color

Looking to upgrade to Pixel 10 Pro unfortunately did not receive any promo code in my email. Promo expires tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone doesn't have a plan to upgrade their Google this year, and has a 200$ off promo code lying around. I would really appreciate any help. If you do have a code that you would like to giveaway, please DM me.

Thank you!!

Moving to Tallahassee soon, and have visited the city only once in the past. I am mostly unaware about the communities and neighborhoods in the city.

I am looking to rent an apartment on the East side of the city. I've heard NE is probably the safest of all the areas in the city, unfortunately both the Arbor properties up there have a waitlist till November.

I found a nice newer community in Southwood/Blair Stone area and was wondering if someone could comment on how this area is safety wise.

Would also appreciate if anyone could recommend any (non-student) apartment complex to rent in the NE, other than the two Arbors, that are well maintained.

Really appreciate all the help!

To further specify the question, how much benefits, as a Hospitalist, should my policy pay monthly if I were to get disabled?

Currently in the process of buying DI and completely unsure about what amount under the FIO rider should I buy if I'm heading to be a Hospitalist?

The agent gave me quotes for 7500 base and FIO of 22500 (leading to a total max of 30K a month benefit) which is absolutely BS because no Hospitalist will likely qualify for 30K post-taxed monthy benefits, just based off our average salaries.

I am torn between picking an FIO that maxes benefits to 20k a month vs 15k a month. Would really appreciate it if someone could comment of how much monthly benefit they currently h

Looking to rent a 1 bedroom upscale apartment to myself. So far what's stood out to me is the Arbor properties. However there's several around the city, as someone who's moving to Florida from the North East, I have no clue on which of the properties is newer/in a nicer location.

They also had separate sewage and water fees that's upto the tenant and when I asked for a range, they said it could be anywhere from 100-150$!? That seems kinda high for just water and sewage. If anyone could comment on what to expect for these charges for single person on a monthly basis.

Would appreciate any recommendations on the Arbor properties and your experience with them.

Would also love your input wit

Single guy here moving to Tallahassee soon and looking for 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom apartment to rent long term. Ideally looking for something on the fancier side, especially if 1 bedroom. Not really sure what's the best area in the city for single young professionals either. Would really appreciate any help and leads.

Made a last minute plan to visit Ithaca from WNY upcoming Thursday/Friday and was wondering if the following trip is feasible?

Day 1: Taughannock State Park followed by Buttermilk State Park

Overnight stay in Ithaca

Day 2: Robert H Treman State Park and Watkins Glen

Traveling solo here and plan to visit the major waterfall in each State Park. If someone would comment on how to make the most of each State Park in the limited time I have. Probably looking to pick the shortest hike that leads to the waterfalls and back.

Also should know about any park trail closures before I get there?

Moving from NYC to Buffalo mid June and looking for affordable housing options around Buffalo General Medical Center/Roswell Park.

Would love to take over housing from an outgoing resident/fellow so I don't need to invest in new furniture. But open to housing suggestions too. Would appreciate any help!

OET writing section can be a headache, even for native speakers. What everyone has to realise is that OET writing doesn't just check your grammar or spellings. They also look for the tone of the letter. And unless you use a formal language, your scores will be deducted. Here are several tips that helped me pass the writing section:

  1. Never refer to the patient as "the patient" in your letter. Always use the patient's name/he/she/they, as appropriate.

Eg:

Incorrect: The patient has a history of menorrhagia.

Correct: Mrs. Smith has a history of menorrhagia.

  1. Do not use connectors like So, Furthermore, Moreover, Meanwhile, Besides etc.

Eg:

Incorrect: She had fever. So acetaminophe

Matched!

Phew....

My 2 cents:

  • Get electives done while you are still a student. And by electives I mean official University rotations where you apply directly with the University, not agencies. University observerships are very hard to come by once you graduate. I understand most electives are currently shut due to the ongoing pandemic, but if any University is offering virtual el
