I've tried several approaches but none of them seem to be reliable. Here's the scenario where I could use some extra eyes and thoughts:

  • There is a built-in bathroom vent fan that...
    • Has an integrated humidity sensor that prevents a simple "switch to on" from always turning on the fan
    • Can be forced to on, but only if manually and quickly switched on -> off -> on in about 1 second
  • I placed an energy monitoring Zigbee smart switch as the wall switch for this fan (a Jasco / Enbrighten Model 43078)
  • A stand-alone zigbee PIR motion sensor has been placed in the bathroom as the trigger for this scenario...
    • When the PIR sensor is triggered...
    • Wait one minute
    • Turn on the fan

I've looked into this topic before, but I find myself puzzled at what is happening right now with my setup. HAOS is running as a VM on Proxmox. It has been running smoothly for a few months, although there were some noisy Z-Wave devices that were filling up the db previously. I did some work to exclude those from logging, and I started running a daily optimization/pruning job on the db. That really seemed to be working well... until yesterday.

It jumped from 1147 MB to 7641 MB in less than 24 hours. There have been some plugin updates that arrived during that time, but no

Let me start out by saying I fully understand that the unwashed masses of no-name, low-cost, zero-support cameras from Amazon shouldn't be expected to work. However, I did have this camera working briefly in some ONVIF supported software so I am checking here to see in Frigate can rescue it from the trash heap.

Let's start with the basic configuration I have tried, both in 0.14 and 0.13.2 with no success...

I have just got in a set of these Linkind bulbs to test and it doesn’t appear they are supported properly in Home Assistant: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHRZFJDN

When I query them in the Developer Tools section I see only these options:

supported_color_modes: - brightness friendly_name: Smart RGBTW Bulb supported_features: 0 color_mode: brightness brightness: 255

Within the Google Home app these bulbs support On/Off, Brightness, White color tuning, and RGB colors. Is this something new to do with how Matter is supported in HA or is something else wrong that I missed? I have also posted this over on the HA forums but thought that I might get a

I have a Source One V5 quad that I built. It was working OK-ish with Betaflight 4.3 and my Spektrum RX and TX. However, I recently flashed the 4.4 update and lost all the settings. I've gone back through many Spektrum and Betaflight articles and videos, but I'm stuck, unable to get Betaflight 4.4 to see my Spektrum TX and RX.

Does anyone know where to find the updated setup and troubleshooting steps with Betaflight 4.4 and Spektrum? Am I just the unlucky one who ran into this issue because other folks use ELRS, Crossfire, or other RX and TX options?

I've been trying to find any kind of 3rd party USB-C PD supported power supplies or docks that will work on this 2022 Dell XPS15 9520, but to no avail. Each one I've plugged in gives the dreaded "boot screen power error" notice saying that there is not enough wattage to run and charge the laptop. I tried various models on the market from 20W to 90W, and all gave the same error message. And yes, I assumed that the 20W wouldn't work, but I was checking to see if it was even recognized.

So today I chatted with Dell tech support and they tell me that this is done by design.

  • the 9520 requires and will not work properly with anything less than a 130W charger
  • no 3rd party chargers have been t
