hair symmetry

Need support/advice

i feel like i’m going insane. everyday since November 2025, i cut out bits of my hair for “symmetry” that i can never seem to achieve . the longest without cutting it has only been about two weeks. it’s constantly on my mind. i’m always running my fingers through it, looking in the mirror, taking videos to ensure symmetry. i always find something wrong though. i can spend hours cutting it, and i’ve never felt this amount of stress and frustration before. i have constant breakdowns because of this and don’t know what to do anymore, i keep acting in it. any advice would be appreciated.

for over a year, i've been experiencing symptoms similar to BV, but got tested negative for it twice. fishy/vinegary odor, irritation and yellow and runny discharge. it tastes very bitter too. i also experience recurring yeast infections and UTIs.

for STIs, i've tested negative for trich, chlamydia and gonorrhea. i was also wondering if it's possible to be an STI if both guys i've ever slept with were FOR SURE virgins/never had oral contact with anyone/never did anything with anyone else while seeing each other?

whatever it is, it's ruining my life, i've been so stressed, so uncomfortable, stopped wanting to do sexual things with my boyfriend and have to change my underwear often/wea

for the past year and a half, i’ve had weird discharge. yellow, runny, foul smelling (fishy, vinegary). i’ve also gotten really bad UTIs and i think it’s associated to this. it’s been unbearable.

i think it might’ve started after having intercourse with my boyfriend at the time, two years ago. he said that it burned afterwards (he did NOT have an STI). and ever since then, my discharge has been off.

i’ve been to the doctors twice, tested negative for STIs and BV. yeast was positive and treated. my doctor said that it could be caused by dietary or psychological issues, but i know that it’s more than that… other people can literally smell me. i’m scared to go back again and feel like i’ll ne

for over a year now, my discharge has been runny, foul smelling, even yellow. this happens usually after and before my period. when this happens, my urine has a green tint and smells off. i have NO idea what this is.

i’ve been to two doctor appointments. got tested for BV twice, both times were negative. i got tested for STIs, also negative. the only thing i had was a yeast infection, but i got something to take for that.

i’m thinking that maybe it could still be a yeast infection, but it smells very strong and my discharge is runny. my doctor said it could be caused by dietary or psychological issues and could be normal. i know that this is not normal though. other people can literally

Bleeding after period?

Period Question

I just got off my period, like 5 days ago and now i’m bleeding again. there is a lot of blood and tension in my uterus, almost like i got another period?? i never have irregular period so this is concerning. what is this?

I’m so scared. I started my period about 10 days ago, it ended on day 6. Now, I’m having semi cramps again and there’s a lot of blood. Maybe it’s related to the fact that I’ve been undergoing very bad stress recently or that I took a plan B a few days ago?

i (18) got my period when i was like 12 and never experienced any problems, but starting a few months ago, i’ve been experiencing irritation.

i think my pads may be burning layers of my skin off around my vagina, since it burns so bad and gets all peely down there when i stop using them. i’ve used always pads (not good) and even ones with no harsh ingredients. NOTHING works anymore and it all hurts

i just bought a menstrual disc to use, even though i don’t think that the problem is tampons. with the disc, i would still want to wear a liner so there are no leaks. what should i get for a liner? has anyone else experienced this?

i’m (18F) revisiting my doctor at a clinic and was wondering if they usually do these tests.

a month ago, i tested negative for STIs and BV. i tested positive for a yeast infection and took something for it, but i still have symptoms are the the same as the symptoms of BV.

i’m wondering if doctors usually retest for BV? also, does it become more complicated if i request to get things like a microbiome test or ureaplasma and mycoplasma test? would i need to ask for a gynecologist?

i (18) have had all the symptoms of BV for over a year now. Last month I went to see my doctor and got tested for BV, STIs and a yeast infection. BV and STIs (including trich) came back negative. I got an antibiotic for the yeast infection (don’t think it’s fully gone).

BV symptoms are ongoing. fishy odor and yellow runny discharge. these symptoms are very on and off, very present before and after period. it’s SO frustrating and humiliating.

i just booked another appointment with my doctor and i’m feeling very nervous about it. what if he isn’t willing to retest me or can’t figure it out? what can i ask about? is there anything that i should request be tested on? should i see someone else?

After about a year of dealing with foul odor(fishy) and runny, yellowish discharge, i finally went to the doctor. I got tested for STIs, BV and a yeast infection. All STIs were negative (i’m positive that i don’t have one) and so was BV. i did test positive for a yeast infection and got an antibiotic to take for that.

the yeast infection MIGHT have cleared, but i still do notice a yeasty odor… i also still think that i could have BV (despite tests being negative). SO frustrating and upsetting.

The odor and unusual discharge is on and off (sometimes like yeast, sometimes fish), usually coming back before and after my period.

Does anyone know what to do in this situation? it took me so lon

I got my first pap smear done just over a week ago, and have no idea when i will or how i will get my results. i was tested for bv, a yeast infection and STIs. I was also just called by my doctors office to create my own account separate from my parents, right after my appointment (i did). anyone know how long it usually takes?

this has been happening for so long now, where for a few days after and before my period, my discharge becomes very runny, yellowish and smelly (like fish). there is also some irritation after my period near the opening (dryness and burning), but no sores or anything. i’ve had it since before i got with my boyfriend and it’s so embarrassing. i have a doctors appointment booked for it. can it be bv? and also can this be caused from something other than sex or is it considered an sti?

Will they tell my mom?

Physician Responded

if i (17f) go to the doctor’s and get something checked out, and they ask me if i’m sexually active (they will ask me this question for this visit), and i say yes, would they tell my mom? i’m in canada and was wondering because i am uncomfortable talking about this with my mom and would rather it stay between me and my doctor. i once read that the doctor told someone’s parents without their consent because they were a minor (this probably happened in the US).

if i (17F) have a doctors appointment and go in for a UTI test, am i allowed to bring up something else? like the fact that i may have bacterial vaginosis or an infection down there?

i’m nervous to talk to my mom (i need her help booking an appointment) about bv so i would rather just bring it up at the doctor’s office.
