Looking to touch-trade all of the colors of the Terry-cloth Shorts. Can trade with either Bells or NMT.
I've been working on making some keybinds for media/audio. Have figured out most but got hung up on toggling mute for a mic. Figure it might be something like pamixer -t <input device> but am not sure. Looked thru arch wiki and pamixer -h but to no avail.
EDIT: Solved!
So I've been trying to compile suckless' dmenu from source but when running sudo make clean install I get this message:
dmenu.c:11:10: fatal error: X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory
I've found I don't have that directory but am not sure which package to install to fix this issue?
Edit: Solved!
I've been testing colorschemes with Vim + Alacritty.
Some of these require the use of termguicolors to work properly.
However with it enabled although the background color appears properly I lose all syntax highlighting, even with syntax on.
Upon trying it in another truecolor terminal (kitty), I have no problems, but it hasn't worked with Alacritty thus far.
Apologies for the simple question, but I'd appreciate some help.
EDIT: Thanks for the help everyone u/chrisbra10's reply helped fix it for the time being. If any more problems arise for me I will seek help in terminals subs. That being said thanks for the help regardless
So for some minor context: I use a laptop plugged into a monitor, while keeping the laptop's lid shut, meaning I don't use the laptop's screen.
Is there any way to make it so that the only active screen is my monitor?
(sorry for the simple question, just switched to spectrwm from i3)
I've been trying to find a way to make it so that instead of a line being under the current focused workspace, that the text itself (ie. 1) changes color.
Sorry for the simple question, but is there any way to do that?
So after updating Arch I found that polybar wouldn't start. I've looked around for a bit and it seems polybar-git would work.
However when installing from the AUR (with yay) It keeps failing to install the python-sphinx dependency.
I tried installing it manually but it fails to install.
Edit 2: I didn't know about --overwite for pacman. Thankfully I hadn't reinstalled so I used it and it worked. Thank you to everyone who has helped me through this issue!
Pretty new here.
I'm trying to enable lightdm and networkmanager. I've added the services to /var/service/ but ni matter what I do they won't start.
I'm pretty sure it's an easy fix but I'm quite lost right now.
So I'm working on a bot and I have a few commands I want only admins to have access to.
Problem, is I really don't have much of a clue on how to make commands admin only.
If anyone could help on this I'd be great!
