I should be getting my wave 1 (and maybe wave 2?!) in the next couple of weeks.

Are there any good tutorials/guides/tips on how to utilise the transparent properties of the transparent plastic and make it look good/seamless?

I notice most painting tutorials I've seen just ignore it and prime the entire mini with an opaque primer.

I've seen Dana Howl has done this, anybody else?

I'm thinking a satin clear coat for primer, then some transparent paint (Contrast, Speedpaint, inks, etc).

But as I'm an unskilled, ordinary painter, I would love to see well executed ideas to implement myself.

I bought a tonne of KDM (1.6) and content recently, but have yet to play or build anything.

I'd like to take it with on a boys trip this weekend, where we'll be gaming from Sat through to Mon.

What should I do prior to leaving?

I'll need to build the four survivors and lion. How many monsters should I prepare? We'll literally be doing nothing else Sat and Sun.

Would it take much time to unbox and setup the game on arrival, or should I do anything else prior?

I don't have card sleeves and figure I'll leave everything else at home (all other expansions and content beyond the base game box.

I've been struggling to understand the concepts demonstrated in these two videos;

https://youtu.be/pI43D_bi1DM?si=5cWWzsjiwMXdpSId&t=1185 (19:51 to 20:25)- what change is taking place at the shoulder, when he suddenly becomes stronger holding the middle inside block?

https://youtu.be/P6by6LBfo6g?si=1zToUGl01IigNyhy&t=680 (11:30 to 11:38) - what is he doing to his shoulder to make the arm stronger? He talks about the elbow pointing down, but also moves his shoulder around?!

I also recall watching another video on I think Karate Dojo WaKu's channel, where keeping the elbow

Hi all,

I'm desperately trying to seek clarification and I've called Qantas 3 times for 3 different answers, none of which we're helpful.

I'm Gold FF, so get 2x32kg check-in bags.

I want to check-in two international sized bags (180 lin. Cm). Both will be well under weight.

I read in a past post that I should be able to go to oversized luggage and check them both in there and they'll count towards my standard allowance and cost nothing extra... but Qantas so far hasn't been able to confirm this for me.

Obviously knowing before I fly will help a lot logistically and not being stung by fees.

Has anybody got very recent experience doing this at Melb and Bris domestic terminals?!

Please a

Usually when i get the 'you're not connected to the internet' issue, I force close the app and start and we're good.

But that's now not working... any other ideas. I'm posting this on my phone, I do have internet.

Ive forced closed multiple times abd nothing works. It won't connect to Tactician's Club either.

With all the talk of McDojo's being setup to make money and others calling their dojo a business...

I wonder, how many are members of a dojo that is not for profit? Where all money stays within the dojo and nobody earns a salary from it.

Mine is not for profit. After the founder retired and handed over the dojo to the black belts and Shihan, they all agreed to incorporate the dojo, so nobody profits of it.

I know the Vexilla for Warden's is for free without any disadvantage (unlike Allarus and Guard).

However I have two questions.

Is it worth magentizing the Vexilla on Warden's due to;

  1. Minimizing the visual height of the Unit, to make them harder to shoot, example against very shooty armies like Tau, where cover and being out of LOS is important. The Vexilla stands very tall and makes it much harder to hide the unit.
  2. Have past editions included the Vexilla for free like in 10th, or is that new? I'm trying to gauge the liklihood of GW changing the rules to make the Warden's Vexilla rules similar to Allarus/Guard, where it isn't an auto-include.
