Hey there. Old pysbd user here. Your library seems to be a very nice replacement for pysbd, specially now that it seems to be unmaintained. That pysbd adapter was a nice touch and it did make migrating to yasbd extremely simple.

Now for the ONLY bad part. At least so far :) If I'm going to be paying you $00.00 to have the privilege to use your code, could you please consider taking another look at all those dependencies yasbd requires? They end up forcing the installation of a couple of not so small libs, resulting in more than 100MB of "wasted" space. I run my systems entirely on RAM, so every MB counts. And it is not as if one could simply buy more RAM in this day and age of AI companies

Anyone ever noticed the (kind of) hidden talismans that appear randomly in the background throughout season 5? I believe they appear in most, if not all, episodes. Sometimes more than once.

Anyone knows if there ever was some official statement about them? Perhaps they were part of some promo? Maybe the creators really liked "Where Is Waldo (or Wally)" and decided to add one more layer of fun for the fans?

PS: never felt like watching this show when it originally aired. And I only gave it a chance now because I went full OCD with Journey To The West related stuff. But I was pleasantly surprised. It is much better than what I expected, specially considering what I assume to be the target a

IMPORTANT: keep this post 100% spoiler free. I haven't read the novel nor seen any adaptation YET.

So, finally decided to read the novel. And by "read" I mean "listen" to someone reading it for me. Unfortunately there seems to be no audiobook in English

Yes, there seems to be some abridged versions floating around, but I refuse to acknowledge the existence of those. Simply put, abridged versions of any book should not exist. And if you do not agree with me, that is OK, it is you

Hey there,

I wonder if any of you guys knows a site or whatever that is able to tell if a given puzzle is solvable without having to guess.

I'm looking for something that only tell us that. I want to be able to tell if, whenever I am stuck, I am stuck because I suck or if it is the puzzle that sucks.

Most solvers seem to show the solution. Some even show all techniques they used. That is definitely not what I am looking for.

PS: not looking to start a debate about the validity of puzzles that require guessing or have multiple solutions. I'm on the no-guessing only-one-solution team, but to each his own.

I want to make cheesecake. NY style. But where I live, sour cream simply does not exist. Nowhere! People don't even know what it is!!!

A quick googling showed some pages claiming that you can make it by fermenting what you guys call heavy cream, which I believe it is something that is sold as "milk cream" over here. Seems simple: heavy cream + some spoons of yogurt, let it sit overnight. Done.

But the question is: does it taste like "real" sour cream? Is the consistency similar?

I'd like to hear only from people who has access to and has ever tasted a store bought one. Anyone else, I appreciate you telling me how great the one you made tastes, but that is not what I am after.

I just want

Anyone know if there is a spoiler free version of the Annotated Pratchett Files (apf on lspace.org) ?

The reason I'm asking it is because I haven't read all books yet, but I'd love to read what the APF has to say about each one I have already read. The problem is that I'd like do it right after finishing a book, while it is still fresh in my head but, after a quick glance, it seems that some APF entries talk about stuff that happens in later books. And I hate spoilers. No matter how insignificant they are.
