For the last month or two I've had some pretty major tendinitis pain (lowered strength in hand grip, numbness in ring finger, and as a result I drop a lot of stuff and can't write very well). I just started treatment for it, and I wear a cast that keeps my hand from forming a fist in order for it to heal.

Problem is I started working on learning to lift back in February, and while I can keep up with my lower body workouts, my upper body is suffering for it, and I feel like I lost my progress (especially in my arms). Does anyone have suggestions as to what I could do to try to work the upper areas at least a little? I have been completely lax on any ab/back/arm workouts because of the hand i

I have short, curly hair, and I'm looking to slick it back flat against my head for my Halloween. Wondering if there are any good 'cone-free products that might accomplish that. Honestly I wouldn't know where to look even if I weren't using the CG method.

Acceptable alternative: I can definitely pin it back and hairspray, so if anyone knows of a good curl-friendly hairspray, I'd love to know! Thanks!

Super small question. I've seen a lot of posts tagged "Fit Check" that aren't actually about checking the fit of a bra. For a while I was seeing "Size Check' and I think that would be awesome to use regularly. Could we have a little note or something on the sidebar? What do you gals think?

Tagging is a pretty minor thing of course. Not a huge complaint here or anything, just a thought! I thought I'd bring it up because I often choose which posts to look at to educate myself. I've got sizing down, still working on finding the right shapes/sizes, and the fit check posts are super helpful for that. Of course, I might be alone in this, which is fine.

I recently let my bunny girls roam my entire apartment. Previously they had a large portion of my living room in an x-pen. I caught them tugging up the corner of the carpet in my hall last night and I'm wondering what you guys recommend for protecting these spots. They don't really dig or yank on carpet anywhere except room corners!

I'm also curious how you recommend protecting wood surfaces. I have some cheapie unfinished wood shelves and tables from IKEA and would like to keep them from chomping down too much. I heard about swabbing them with white vinegar--do you folks find this to be successful?

Thanks in advance! I'll be sure to post photos of my girls later.

This is the product that was suggested for rosacea sufferers in an AMA over at r/makeupaddiction. Mine is a really mild case; I have red patches on my lower cheeks and the texture is only slightly bumpy right around my jawline. I'm most interested in ditching the redness so I can wear less concealer and foundation, but something tells me that there's nothing topical that can take care of it. If anyone has ideas, though, I'd love to hear them! I'd prefer to see a dermatologist but my current insurance plan doesn't cover specialists :/

My skin's dry to normal with only occasional cystic acne (like one cyst every two weeks or so), and the p

Hey all! I've been slowly working on improving my skin care regimen and am curious about microdermabrasion to take care of the seemingly plugged (but clean) pores on/around my nose and red marks left over from occasional zits (I'm really pale and those last for months). I'd love to get it done professionally, but I have a move coming up and I'm tight on money.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with home treatments? I saw this and was wondering if it was effective. I know it's not the same as proper microdermabrasion, but it seems like it might be at least somewhat effective. Other suggestions are certainly welcome!
