I don't think this is a likely scenario. But is it possible? Nothing about the next few months is going to be typical, all kinds of shenanigans may happen. Many Democrats in power appear to have realized that restricting their strategies to any honored conventions other than the actual law and Constitution puts them at disadvantage to aggressive Republican tactics.

When coming to a complete stop with just about any car, there is a small jerk/rocking/bounce motion at the last moment of complete stop.

Given Tesla's software control of motor and brake behavior, it would be great if the dynamics of the last fraction of a second for a stop were controlled so that a stop happens without any last second rocking.

I achieve this manually by releasing the brake a tiny bit just before a complete stop. This creates a softer stop without a braking bounce.

What I can do easily manually, Tesla's software could do even better.

This would add to the advanced feel of driving a Tesla.

For safety, softened stops could be skipped for when the user requests a ASAP stop

Confusing/unsafe behavior now:

  • Leave fob in Model X (on purpose, or by mistake)
  • Lock with app
  • Model X shown locked...
  • but unlocks for any handle press by anyone

Two problems with this:

  1. Confusion about lock behavior: I believed the app when it showed my Model X was locked and thought for months that I could lock my fob in the car and get back in with just my phone. Little did I know it would unlock for anyone.

  2. Mistakenly unlocked: Someone might leave their fob in the car by mistake, and believe their car was locked based on the app when it is functionally not locked.

Feature request and fix:

When the car is locked by app, the app notifies if fob is still proximate and EIT

If you are pro BCH, directing negativity at BTC is a waste of time and energy and prolongs dysfunction that hurts BCH.

BTC's different approach (regardless of your views of its technical, economic and freedom approaches) will reveal things about 2nd level scaling that will be useful for all cryptocurrency projects, including BCH, down the road.

Like a bad divorce, two development communities can obsess about past problems and participate in endless cycles of aggravations. But either one, or both, benefit immediately by not encouraging negativity in themselves or the other party.

Nothing is lost, and a lot is gained, by any one party that:

  • Lets go of past grievances
  • Stops treating p

Reddit is both a great good but also a subtle source of unnecessary damage to it's users. Unlike Facebook, the damage that Reddit does could be significantly reduced with two simple policy changes.

Reddit enables ongoing conversations about virtually any topic that isn't widely considered to cause direction damage. Anyone can create a new conversation with its own policies for inclusion. This is not a trivial improvement to the Internet.

However, Reddit's policies leave a loop hole which doesn't just enable, but facilitates serious sabotage of free speech. It facilitates coercive hidden systematic censorship, as apposed to simply ena

I am a huge supporter of the hard fork that created Bitcoin Cash. It is the best demonstration of the potential of Bitcoin's white paper approach while also innovating. Reliable 0-confirmations, reliable and inexpensive confirmed transactions. What is not to love?

However, surely for transactions everyone is going to want privacy? Corporations, institutions, the wealthy, and even the not wealthy, don't want their transactions to be soduko puzzles for government surveillance and hackers to mine.

I will start with two BCH advantages over XMR:

  1. Apparently Supporting XMR is technically more difficult for wallets and other tools.

  2. The tremendous media and social hype around the wor

The devs have long encouraged the Monero community to focus on its practical usefulness for private transactions and let market caps do what they do.

I agree that focus on fundamental capabilities and progress is much healthier than focusing on market cap which is easy to manipulate but has much less to do with long term success.

However, most people who come into contact with Monero now are not sophisticated people and complaints about wallet availability and usefulness have been chronic for a long time.

Without easier to use wallets for Monero transactions the vast majority of people's experience with Monero will only be as an investment/speculation vehicle.

So I would suggest that the

The flat sides would allow the screen to fill the phone without dealing with tapered/rounded screen edges all the way around.

The lack of border would allow another jump in screen size without increase in phone size (we all know this is the plan already).

I personally liked the flat sides of the iPhone 4, especially when holding the phone as a camera. It made it easier to grip.

Also, would love to have the camera triggered by squeezing any corner of the phone. That would make taking pictures taking the same no matter how the phone was oriented, portrait or landscape etc.

An account with $5 of Bitcoin Cash BCH can be closed by moving the $5 to another account (yours or anyones, a purchase, etc) quickly with a low fee.

An account with $5 of Bitcoin BTC loses most or all its value when closed by moving its $5 out.

This is a flip side of the fact that a transaction sending BCH with a total (sent and fee) of $10 is worth much more to the receiver than a transaction sending $10 of BTC.

This could be called BTC Value Mirage for accounts and transactions. Their face value is not their actual value.

For years, many of us have been frustrated with Luke's prohibitive effects on BTC scaling.

But now it has become obvious he was holding Core back in preparation for the Bitcoin Cash/BCH break with Core. Even if he did not know it, the gods were working through him.

His continued (inadvertent) trolling of BTC is an inspiration to us all.

Let us all wish Luke-jr success in his epic quest for tiny BTC blocks!
