Randy Fine thinks the halftime show was too randy and NBC should be fined

usatoday.comAt the end of the film, it's snowing, and a touching parent-child reunion scene is shown onscreen.
She loaned it to me (it's a Ryobi RYAC130) because mine was having trouble. I'm not used to a corded mower, and as I was trying to navigate an area near where my porch steps down into grass, I caught it just right and mowed right through it. Obviously I'm going to do whatever I have to to replace it, but does anyone know whether I'm going to have to get a specialized cord from Ryobi (their parts website looks pretty barren and their customer service line doesn't open till Monday) or if a regular extension cord will do?
I have a vague channel-surfing memory that resurfaces whenever I hear the phrase "habeas corpus": A young woman, probably in her 20s, takes a drink of an alcoholic beverage. It's apparently a strong drink, and she reacts to it by saying "habeas corpus!" as an exclamation. I don't think she's yelling it or anything; in my memory it's more of a matter-of-fact, dryly funny way of saying "wow, that's strong" as an aside. She's either at a bar or a party, and she's with a group of friends. I could be getting a detail or three wrong, however. Any thoughts?

My purchase of a car is in the process of falling through. (My driver's license is expiring in a couple of weeks, Carvana told me it needs to be valid for 30 days after purchase, my state is one of two that won't let Carvana accept a temporary license, and there's no way to get a new plastic card by the time Carvana needs it to complete this purchase. Maddening, but not my question right now.)
One workaround occurred to me: my wife could buy the car. There's no financing or trade-ins involved, just a straight cash transaction. She's already created a Carvana account and set it to alert her if my vehicle becomes available again.
My question is: If I cancel the transaction, will the vehicle
Now I'm having fecund thoughts.
