Expirmenting with pipes.

Manuals say that SWE solver accounts for losses due to bend (and I assume confluence) within pipe network.

Ive got a pipe network running well, with some bends, T's, Drop to test, but im not seeing anything other than conduit entrance/exit specified loss.

Eg a 80d bend (through junction), with .01 entrance loss, gives me negligible WSE rise, when it should be a fair bit.

Is there some specific process to ensure this works?

I often have to take notes during field work, meetings, phone calls etc. Ive attempted to use ipad and pen etc to record, but just doesnt work for me.

Is there a product or app or something that would take a printed form, that I had filled in by hand, and when scanned get the file labelled by some text, and all the text recognised so i could copy paste into excell or somehting?

Just wanted to say that if someone hasnt tried playing on the Mod "Depth of Feild" Map, please do.

The rolling hills, contiguous linear urban area, and patchy forest turn it into a completely new game.

Especially I think the Hills, gives so many new options for close tactical movements, ATGM could hold me off at long range, but then the valley they overlook is a blind spot, I can run along the depression and follow it, pop up behind them.

Also love the new bombs just flatten everything

I am setting myself up as an engineering design consultant.

I have got a new SSD for all my work stuff to have a local copy.

I have all my data currently in SharePoint. Due to the way some of the software I use operates, absolutely must be operating from the local drive. Its not an option to operate from the website environment.

How can I set this up so that my SharePoint is viewable and synced/duplicated on my ssd?

I think my windows account is different from the 365 account I use for work, is that an issue?

Any direction would be much appreciated.

Thnaks

I will be getting a domain for my company. I want to be able to use this as my windows/Microsoft account. It will have 365 for business. I have an existing computer at home. I will put an additional SSD in, and use this only as business storage. I want it so logging in for business/work is completely separate to the log in for personal use, I don't want to see games in work environment or work in the personal environment.

I will want the OneDrive from the business account to only sync stuff on the business SSD.

Is this a thing I can do? I imagine it's quite straightforward, but I do not even know the terms to search for, or if I were to get someone to do it, what specific things I need to

So we all know of head loss factors for stormwater pits, big square boxes.

We also are all familiar with minor losses for fittings, valves, tees, long radius bend etc.

But does anyone know of data or factors best used for maintenance shafts, running under head.

Say a 300dia shaft, with 225 pipe in and out, hgl maybe 1.5m above invert. How to best think about these?

So I have a lot of parcels (closed polygons) that I want to have a 'name' attribute. This name exists as a text object.

How do I make the name feild be populated by the text object? Without typing in.

Of course the current war is resulting in a lot of Wikipedia reading regarding all the different systems being used.

The Russians are using laser guided artillery rounds, Krasnopol, introduced to service in 1986.

Could we have an artillery spotter, with the laser designator, and then a very limited amount of Krasnopol rounds for certain arty peices?

Is there any scenarios that are fully tactical scale in nature?

I'm thinking where the ranges are more realistic (rather than arching over 500km), and maybe turns happens over days rather than years.

Say the map is 50m or 100m squares?

At a glance civ 6 would lend itself well to a scenario like this.

Has one been created?

Is there any good analysis or articles going around regarding the floods from and engineering perspective?

Issues with the river systems, paculiarites with the rain event, mitigation systems (or potential for) etc?

Mountain forest Map

Question/Help

Hi.

Is there a good unpopulated mountain forest Map?

I want to do a play where I just start with lumber and have to cut it all down before I can make farms and so on. Really build out from the ground up.

But would prefer if it's not a very flat map, like the building area is limited in narrow valleys, think it will make it more interesting.

Is there a such a map that would be good?

Thanks

How did aircraft radar work? What were the displays like?

How was it used to find other aircraft, what information could you get?

Does there exists a timeline chart showing character interactions and locations?

Each character is shown as a horizontal line and they move up and down depending on where they are and who they are with?

There exists one for Lord of the rings that's pretty good, but can't see one for man in the high castle any where
