I was thinking, this is much easier for all of us because it's actually unicode and you can easily express it in text. It will help the adoption of bitcoin when people can say hey I'll send you 1.426Ƀ instead of saying 1.426BTC, since it saves characters and the Ƀ is a distinct character that you could unambiguously associate with the bitcoin. What do you guys think?

Here is my reasoning. I've been watching submissions that make it to the front page. I've been noticing that stuff makes it there that has like one comment in an hour, but we have dozens of threads every hour that get dozens of comments on them but never make it to the front page.

Just look at any post that even mentions mt. gox. Tons of discussion, tons of upvoting of the comments, but these threads almost never make it to the front page. But we have other articles and self shit posts that make it there with a comment or two.

This is nuts.

Can someone post that meme again so we can all be reminded to keep speculating and hoping for continued exponential increases in bitcoin values? I miss those days.
