Hi Everyone,

I have UCTD and was also given the label of Lupus Spectrum Disorder. Im f23 and ive recently started to using a walking stick for balance mainly. Im just struggling with accepting it. Im lucky I don't need it all the time but recently there was an article written in my country (UK) about young women with sticks and 'sickfluincers' so im just feeling self conscious about it

Any ideas on confidence boosting? My stick is pink which is my favourite colour and my friends have joked about putting rhinestones on it!

My (f23) partner (m23), is a fulltime tramper for a reasonably sized bulk powder firm. Hes started to really struggle with his work life balance and i have no idea how else I can help him.

Hes ex army and really struggles with his mental health. Hes wanting to do therapy but obviously working basically 24/7 there is no time for NHS stuff. He told me his average working hrs over 26 was too high (sorry I dont know the proper terms!).

So to try and get the help he needs, work might allow him to have a half day on a friday, he initially asked for 1 Friday off every few weeks but they said no.

Im an ex union rep and it was my suggestion to get him an occy health referral but they wont refer

I think i just need some general advice and support for this one. Long story short, my (23f) parents (63m & 53f) are divorcing and its been awful, mainly because my dad is an abusive PoS. Set as NSFW due to the triggering topic.

Ive tried to retain some relationship because I was always his favourite (i have a 21yo sister also) and I thought he genuinely cared. I started to notice he would only ring when he needed help with his phone or if my mums solicitors had sent him divorce letters. He tried to brain wash me against my mum to start, but one night he rang me to say he didn't need me and he was going to end himself (he didnt and ive told him to get help but he refuses, I suspect if my mu

I have a diagnosis of "CTD/lupus spectrum disorder" and its starting to really affect me. I was diagnosed in 2021 when I was 19, based in the UK. Over the past 3 years ive started to notice a slow but significant decline in my health, started to put more weight on (now on Wegovy), increase in fatigue, increase in pain, increase in other symptoms like nerve sensations and increases forgetfulness.

I'm on hydroxychloroquine 400mg OD, amitriptyline 25mg, and duloxetine 30mg. I know that amitriptyline and duloxetine do make you sleepy but I have been on them for nearly 2 years and tolerate it well. if I dont takes these medications I get tingling in my hands and cant drive.

I just dont know wha

We purchased a new build, that was built by Equans, in Aug 2025. They've sorted a majorly of the snagging and we've been pretty happy with that, however they wont budge on the garden.

There was a dramatic dip toward the end of the garden which was filled in by them (at our request), however, they filled it in with excess clay and soil from the build process, with no turf, (they didnt make us aware of this prior to the work). So now the bottom of the garden is very muddy and boggy. They are denying there is a drainage issue because "their boots dont sink into the floor" despite our shoes regularly doing this and it being extremely muddy. They are refusing to fix this issue.

I am wondering w

My nan is currently dying, but i have no relationship with her and she doesnt know who I am. I dont have any urge to see her and I havent in years and year. I just feel as if im a terrible person for not going and I feel its inappropriate for me to be there. I feel really sad because shes dying because its sad when people die but also because my dad also wont go to see her but thats because he is stubborn. I feel like such a bad person.

I had a very interesting conversation with my nan yesterday. She told me she had been in a Dr Who Society film/episode, that stared Elisabeth Sladen and a doctor but she cant remember who. It was filmed at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire and I want to say maybe late 80s or early 90s? It's was a medieval themed episode.

Does anyone have any idea what this was? My nan really wants to see it again! Thank you in advance
