I often hear it's a passenger Jet. It's not. The old 1963 Jets logo is a fighter. I can understand the confusion, as the 1963 logo looks a lot like passenger Jets of today. But when you look at fighter jets of old you can see the difference.

First, let's take a look at a quick quote from the Jets:

Werblin, the club's new president and CEO, renamed the team the Jets. The reasons were twofold. At the time, the United States was entering the "Space Age" or "Jet Age."

What is the Jet Age? Glad you asked!

The term "Jet Age" was coined in the late 1940s.[1] At the tim

There is a person that has me blocked, then they unblock me to reply, and block again. They are a rude and nasty person so I'd love to block them so I don't have to read their stuff anymore. But since I am blocked by them, I can't block them back. I've tried going to their user page to block them, and I've tried reporting them to block them too. Reddit won't give me the option when they have me blocked. Which basically means this guy can harass me whenever he feels like it and I can't do a thing about it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Background:

I know a person who has stage 4 cancer. She has no money whatsoever. With cancer treatment she should live another 5+ years. Without treatment she's looking at 6 months tops. But to qualify for medicare (or is it medicaid? Sorry I can't remember the name) she can't have the house as an asset. Unfortunately the house has a serious structural issue which means nobody will touch it with a 10 foot pole, even if she gave it away for free. We even tried one of those 'cash for homes' people and they said the property is worthless and had no interest in it. The point is medicare/medicaid see the house as an asset and want some money before they pay for more treatments.

Is there any way

I love coming here for movie recommendations, and watch most of what people here suggest. But I came across Spontaneous on prime yesterday and couldn't remember anyone talking about it. I decided to give it a shot. I thought it was really good and kinda freaked me out in a way no horror movie has in a long time. The tension was unreal and lasted long after the movie was over. I couldn't shake it this morning at work either which was a trip to be imagining lol.

It's also not your usual horror film. I'd describe it as a horror romantic comedy.

Hope you like it and I look forward to seeing more discussions on it!

I know, you're probably thinking, 'what does GoT being finished have to do with the Jets drafting well?' Well let me walk you through the timeline.

In 1968, George R. R. Martin was 20 years old as he watched his favorite NFL team, the New York Jets, defeat the Baltimore Colts to win Super Bowl III. This storied success also inspired GRRM to begin writing. Officially GRRM credits Stan Lee, but don’t let that distract you from the truth. It was Namath and the ’68 Jets that inspired him, and led to his first major publication in 1971 - The Hero.

Unfortunately, following the ’68 and ’69 seasons, the Jets went through a decade of despair. Martin’s literary works mirrored that. He published wo

I know we all suspected we were going QB, but after that trade it's basically been confirmed.

Reasoning: Obviously the 49ers would rather be the 2nd overall, and if JD wanted to trade down, that would have been a pretty nice haul. JD most likely turned it down (or better) before the same was offered to Miami.

So any lingering 'will we stick with Darnold' questions can be put to bed.

(unlikely alternative: JD's got an even bigger blockbuster trade down in the works)
