I'm trying to put together a little basket of stuff for someone whom is an accountant. End of fiscal year is fast approaching and I know that the first couple of months are incredibly stressful for this person. Last year I got them a really nice bottle of bourbon - which I plan to do again this year. I may also bake some cookies (or something like that) and put in a note saying that if they need help with anything around the house (or stuff i'm able to help with) that I will do anything I can- as well as unlimited back rubs and scalp massages.
What other things would be good to include in this??
Edit- this is for my significant other. haha not someone who works for me
I feel that as a woman it is incredibly hard to find a great toilet paper. I feel like I've been through them all (I certainly don't skimp on this product) and am frustrated in trying to find a toilet paper that does not leave lint behind. While at home I've resorted to the solution of using baby wipes. Lets hear what your favorite toilet paper is!
I love reading the little stories some of you post in comments about your own cats related to pet photos posts. What are some of the "weirdest" things that your cats do? What are your favorite things that they do? - pics of pets are encouraged!
I am a small business owner and have a traditional IRA (traditional (for now) due to my accountants suggestion). I'm looking for some solid mutual funds to invest in. All I currently have is VOO and the individual stock in Estee Launder (EL). I'm wanting to be well diversified.
I'm young and have plenty of time to let it sit. I love looking in to this stuff- What do you have for me?!
Here's the back story. I'm 28yrs old. I earned my GED when I was 16/17 years old. Though I thoroughly enjoy learning I was over school. I traveled and worked until I turned 18. I then went to Cosmetology school (full-time) (while working part-time) and graduated a few months early. I then went to work in a large salon where my clientele grew quickly. While at this salon a major color company approached me about becoming an educator for them - I did this for 2 years. My leadership skills became apparent to the owner and approximately a year - a year and a half later I became the manager (I was the youngest stylist managing 15 other stylists). I stayed at that location for 3 years. At the age
I have a gift idea for the accountant in my life (thought of doing this for an insignificant holiday) and wanted your thoughts on it. I was thinking of getting him a really nice pen and having his initials engraved on it - thoughts? Also, are there any really nice pens out there that you can recommend to me?
I also thought of getting him a really nice/cool abacus to put on his desk... but after searching the internet all I have found are cheap crappy pieces.
Thanks in advance!
Cooking, cleaning, storage (all kitchen/grilling related) - whatever you've got - lets hear it! I have come to find that there are some cool tricks that a lot of people don't know about.
I just saw a commercial trying to persuade people to be an organ donor. I know that hospitals like to over charge for every tiny thing here in the US.
I happen to be an organ donor and am curious as to if someone were to get an organ from me if the hospital would charge them for the organ that I donated for free?
I know that there are costs that go along with receiving something like that - transportation, hospital stay, medications, etc. I am only asking if they put a price on the organ itself.
