I'm looking to get a smart watch for running and to be paired with my pixel 10 pro. I really like the look of the Samsung Galaxy with the steel rim face but the offers are good on the Pixel. I know people prefer Garmin for running but it's the most expensive of all the 3 I believe plus it cannot be used for anything else I believe like a smart watch. I may be wrong here but I want to know what your thoughts are? Which one of the three you would have picked?

My family and I landed today at Pearson Airport, Toronto after a 15 hour flight from Dubai. The itinerary was Mumbai-Dubai-Toronto on Emirates. The experience was normal like any other day with no disruptions or cancellations at Dubai.
The flight from Mumbai however got delayed by around an hour or so due to a medical emergency on ground as per the announcement. We were lucky though to make it to connect to our onward journey from Dubai as this connecting flight was moved one hour prior to their original scheduled time. This was the only slightly inconvenient part as we were the last 3 to reach the boarding gate.
Both of our sectors were full flights, meaning business is usual with Emira
Is Wyse this crazy to charge a random amount without fixing the issue? I have been dealing with unreal bills since I moved in Waterloo last October. The first two bills were 300+ dollars which I took it up with both Wyse and building management. As per Wyse, they checked and found nothing in error but I refuse to believe this shit.
Is there a way I can take this up further and escalate? Like to the City of Waterloo or someone. It’s just ridiculous amount for a unit of 2 people where we do not even use heavy appliance like dishwasher.
I don’t know if the dealer is intentionally delaying the delivery of my car or it’s a genuine delay at this point. Here’s what happened!
I booked KIA Seltos on lease towards the end of the last month and before signing the papers, I asked the duration to get the car. The salesperson said around 2 weeks which should have been at the max around 15th January keeping in mind all the holidays. I was told that I will be contacted by the finance manager to carry out paperwork and discuss about lease protection plan. I was given the details of this protection plan to which I said no. A few days later in January, after providing the VIN number, the salesperson now says around 3-4 weeks for delivery
Hello Waterloo community, A fairly newcomer to this city. My wife and I recently moved here from Toronto and were shocked to the core to see our utility bill of 350 dollars and this is through Wyse. It’s nuts!
I refuse to believe that this is a normal charge even with the heat fan being on continuously. Has anyone experienced this high bill?
What are your thoughts on the lease protection program offered by KIA? Has anyone bought it lately?
I recently booked my KIA Seltos and soon will be picking it up. The finance manager shared the option of adding lease protection plan on top of my bi-weekly. This lease protection is coming to CAD 32 dollars extra bi-weekly which means monthly CAD 64 dollars.
I’m based in Waterloo, Ontario. I opted for 3 years lease.
Hello Mazda owners, Is it true that Mazda dealerships do not believe in extending any kind of discounts, offers, deals? Last evening, I went to the Forbes Waterloo dealership for a possible test drive and quotation.
The sales guy said no to any kind of deals or discounts and is consistent across dealerships. He said we sell cars for technology, reliability, and brand. The only deal he provided was reduction in one percent interest rate in leasing with 7k down payment.
GS trim owners, what do you think of your model? How old is yours? Thinking to go for CX-5 GS instead of 30 because of the assembly (Mexican).
Is it relatively cheaper to put Bose sound system after the purchase? Because the jump from GS to GT trim is significant (8-10k). I’m based in Waterloo, Ontario.
When you see a new CX-30 (pricier MSRP) at 1.45% for 36 months versus a used one (lower MSRP) at 6.99%, what makes sense?
I know that the used car will have almost monthly maintenance costs attached while the new one won’t require anything for the first two years (if nothing major) except for oil change (maybe once a year) as my driving will mostly be within city limits.
Plus, finding a used one that’s assembled in Japan is difficult in and around Waterloo region. What say guys? I’m debating between the GS and GT trims (mostly for Bose sound system).
I’m looking at this listing on marketplace for a used CX-5 GT AWD, driven 176,000kms. Is this still a reasonable mileage to consider while buying a used one?
It has a Clean CarFax, no major accidents priced at $16,500 Canadian Dollars. I’m based in Waterloo, Canada.
Other Suggestions, recommendations for a used Mazda.
Based in Waterloo, Canada, I’ve been researching heavily on what car to go for as my first. Preference was always Japanese and have read the superior drive quality of Mazda on road. Also, the interiors and dashboard feel luxury.
Suggestions please. Thinking to go for a used from Wilson’s in Guelph but what do you guys think? Is mileage below 100k a good criteria to set for CX-30?
Also, how have you been liking yours so far? Anyone bought used recently, please share experiences.
Hello Waterloo community, I’m looking to buy my first ever car, all-electric compact SUV. Thinking Hyundai Kona Electric for its tech, range, and safety. Please let me know what dealers I can go to and whom I should avoid.
Also, if you can touch base with what all topics should I keep in mind while talking to dealers that would be really appreciative and great. Thank you 🙏🏻
It was 2 years in the making of patiently waiting for the whole process, multiple trade changes due to closures, and restarting the system with their new portal. 35 years old and married.
I received my offer letter 2 days ago for Signals Intelligence Specialist. Yet to decide my response though. I went through the letter and have a few questions of my own if someone can help me answering.
-
The letter states I will be enrolled as SigInt NCM in the Army. Can I change my environment to Air Force after the BMQ?
-
The letter states ‘…not entitled for recruitment allowance.’ Is it the signing bonus they are referring to?
Also, please feel free to reach out with thoughts, comments, and s
