Yes, I know this isn't the first trailer analysis post. and won't be the last, however this is something I've wanted to do for a while and hopefully can provide some different views and speculative points to the gameplay trailer.

General Observations - There is a decent amount of white hair/red hair characters. Possible that the Chinese Youtuber who leaked the 2 concept arts was right about red hair/white hair factions. (Sorry forgot his name). -A handful of chimeras were shown. They

Back when antaeus wards came out, they weren't the best, but depending on your playstyle they could be very good. I used them almost exclusively from season 5 on once I realized how good they were. Of course when they were buffed they were OP and everyone jumped aboard, but the truth is they were always GOOD.

Now? I hate to say it, but they suck. There's no reason for this. As someone who really liked the exotic, Im saddened by this. They were always a competitive option if you knew what you were doing (I was able to solo que to get unbroken using these things). There was never anything wrong with them until they were buffed, so why didn't they simply get reverted back to how they were?

Title. Its a green from year 1 called Jiangshi AR1 . It's only trait is alloy mag but it does feature the Flash HS5 sight.

It's the only auto rifle to have this intrinsic perk which really interests me. Was Bungie intending on making this an AR archetype and just kind of forgot? If this is the case did they start working on it and then decide to just scrap the idea? Was it an error in early development that kind of just fell through the cracks? Just seems really strange that something like this exists and hasn't been reiterated in any legendaries.

Stats in dark souls games usually govern one thing, and thats weapon/spell damage. Some stats have other effects like dex boosting cast speed, luck boosting status effect build up, etc. However, I think giving stats more meaning would not only improve on the role playing aspect, but would also increase replayability.

For example: You come across a narrow valley. There's no visible way across but you see a stone monument in pretty bad shape right on the edge of your side of the valley. You approach it and an interaction prompt appears. You, a pure intelligence build attempt to interact. Your character tries pushing it over. "Nothing happens". On your next playthrough you're a strength buil

Being that I can't draw anything nice looking, I figured I can help this sub cope with the lack of news with other means: thinking about/starting discussions on potential game details/mechanics.

To me, it seems there's going to be more focus on magic and casting with Elden Ring when compared to other FromSoft titles. If the newest rumor turns out true and there are "schools of magic" and the game has more high fantasy elements, this really leads me to believe magic is at the forefront of Elden Ring's story and gameplay.

Something that stands out to me as well was in interviews its mentioned that From is going to be able to do things in this game they could never do in Dark Souls. When I re

Since I've been stuck at home for the past couple of weeks my hype for this game has grown tremendously. I've been reading all the confirmed information about the game again and the thing that interests me most is the emphasis on RPG elements compared to other FROM titles.

Another thing that kind of plays into this is how Miyazaki compared Martin's lore/mythos to be a sort of "dungeon master's guide". I want to try to understand what these 2 things can mean and what it can implicate from a gameplay/mechanic/character build perspective.

I'm going to be mostly referencing Dark Souls since its been said this game is a natural evolution of Dark Souls. So, with this in mind I want to take a loo

Happened a few times today. I would have 11 in the mag dor Python, rather than the usual 10 when procing overflow. I'm thinking it's because Im picking up a heavy brick at the same time as a special brick. Has this happened to anyone else?

TLDR: Do not attempt end game content without knowing what weapons/perks/subclasses are good. Do not attempt end game content without a full set of good weapons and gear.

Teaching the raid, most people don't mind. But please, do not think you're ready for end game content without the correct gear. You should know what weapons are considered good even without knowledge of the raid itself. Have a good sniper. Have a good shotgun. Have a solid primary and damage option. Know how to use your subclass effectively.

I've beaten the GoS several times. This week I was finishing a run on my 3rd character and got to the final boss. It got late and people had to leave. Oh well. Try again tomorrow. I
