I have watched the recent developments on the Reddit platform over the last few weeks and it has led me to a certain amount of personal introspection. Specifically I have been reviewing the 'who, what, where, when and why" of my participation on Reddit in general and moderation of this brilliant community specifically. While the latter has been a valuable, informative and rewarding experience, in general my hours spent on the platform could and should be spent better elsewhere.

As such, it is my intention to stop moderating the Business Intelligence subreddit as of the 1st July. If it is the will of the team I will remain as alumni or return to a normal subscriber per their preference.

I don't know who needs to hear this at Niantic, but if a user begins a touch interaction, then you "fly in" some new UI, that interaction should not apply to the new UI.

Basics, you know.

While we note that many subs are continuing their actions, for the moment this sub will return to normal operations.

I will sticky this post, please feel free to use it as a lounge to discuss the issues on the sub or debate further actions we might take.

Thanks as always to our members and apaologies if this action disrupted you in any way.

Speaking personally I use 3rd party apps to get to Reddit for 90% of my time here. Modding this sub will be more awkward for me under the proposed charges scheme.

You may feel differently. What is for sure is that feelings seem to be strong on the issue and users should get a voice.

So I'm running a short poll here to better understand the sentiment.

edit: specifically, do you agree with Reddit's proposal for introducing a charging model?

Please answer if you can, after all we're all about data driven decisions here!

As with most Reddit polls - if you don't like the options provided use the comments to discuss.

Title. Every update this app seems to just get worse.

It never seems to be updated from the car more than a few days ago.

Constant resetting of pin and having to re-authenticate.

I know I shouldn't expect much after the first 3 years but man could it at least work for the charging status?

Just venting I guess...
