When playing the single player campaing we are allowed to map power1/2/3 to buttons of our choosing on consoles (thank you Bioware for caring for us plebs).
But then strangely this is not the case for multiplayer (Bioware, we were bros once). All the powers are pre-assigned and we cannot change the 3 bindings.
This creates a situation where a Human Soldier throws a grenade with one button, but a Turian Soldier and Salarian Infiltrator with a different button. Vanguard Charges on that same button, yet in my mind Shockwave should go there... Even the Gladitor's Nova is activated differently than a Vanguard's Nova, and so on.
This description of a bugfix in the upcoming update is very vague, but could be very important.
Is this bug the reason why so many times my bullets did no damage to enemies even though I saw them first and shot at them first with a Wingman or Mozambique, then died to their bullet hose rifle? This is so frequent and feels so unfair that I stopped playing.
But the problem couldn't be discussed, fanboys always have their helpful "fix ur internet" tip. Game engines can't have bugs, right? Oh wait, this one just did.
Playing with single shot weapons like Wingman and Kraber makes Titanfall2 an especially miserable experience. When your opponent is spraying you from their full auto bullet hose that kills in 0.25 or 0.3 seconds they can afford a bullet to "miss" and still kill you faster than a blink. But you shooting back at them with a Wingman/Mozambique/Kraber really cannot afford such luxury.
Numerous times I landed two shots that did no damage and the killcam insults me claiming I was shooting ducks in the sky, or even worse when it shows I didn't fire a single round but was just standing there counting pocket change. At least dying behind cover and in Phase Shift plague the bullet hose wielders equa
Finished a PS4 quick play match in Lijiang Tower where the Biotic Grenade disappeared on impact with a team mate several times, without any visual or sound or functional(healing) effects.
I played Ana on other maps these last two days and haven't noticed any such problems. Why now on Lijiang Tower? Could it be related with asset changes for the new CTF mode?
Since the Jan 24th update relative scoped sensitivity of Widowmaker and Ana randomly resets it self at the beginning of a match or a round to what appears to be the default value.
Actual setting remains the same custom value but the sensitivity very clearly changes. The workaround is to change the relative scoped sensitivity in any direction by any amount and back to the desired custom value.
I'm playing on PS4. It has happened at least 10 times tonight.
Quote from "Overwatch Patch Notes – January 24, 2017":
Players can now join Team Chat from the Hero Select screen (Push “RB” on the Xbox One controller and push “R1” on the PlayStation 4 controller)
There is no such notification on the hero select screen to guide the players or encourage them to join the chat, nor does pressing R1 achieve anything.
We need your support. One crucial setting we're still missing is a slider for controlling the "Deadzone" size.
Console controllers/gamepads are sold at premium prices, and we want to get the most out of them! Well cared for controllers can handle a smaller Deadzone which in turn will provide us with finer aim control.
We could also use more acceleration options, what you call "Aim Techniques". We want to transfer our aiming skills from Halo, Call Of Duty and Titanfall to Overwatch. Those games trained us and conditioned our brains for years with curves like this one: http://i.imgur.com/v1vqtmO.jpg
Your many fans coming from Super Mario and Guitar Hero are not going to ask you for this.
