During intake, therapy, etc, have you done written or computer-aided assessments? I think the only ones I've done have been brief, oral, and not described to me as such. Have you had intelligence, personality, neurophysiological, etc, tests? I've had an MRI, and that's not the kind of assessment I mean. Wondering how typical my experience has been. Happy Friday!

I'm a husband and father who has received multiple dxes over the last x number of years. My wife and I are struggling to get along, often. Probably the usual types of issues, and schizophrenia dx and OCD diagnosis (geez, which do I go along with?), in last couple of years, complicate things; rather, the signs and symptoms that led to the dxes make it difficult for me to tolerate an office environment, and difficult for my wife to tolerate my fear etc. Need to find work that doesn't lead to me becoming overwhelmingly fearful of bosses, coworkers, etc. Wide interests, decent writer, computer-science/engineering background.

I can't get enough therapy. I see my therapist once a week and have been seeing her for 11 weeks. I think of things related to therapy during the week, and the hour is so short but I think of it all through the week. I always come away wanting to talk more. What can I do to make the most of the hour? What can I do when I have a "therapy craving?"
A little over a year ago, as a first-time expectant father and a newly sober alkie, I turned poet in earnest. I have been published in school literary journals (two), and I recently received my first two rejection slips (or, as a writer friend insists on calling them, "non-acceptance slips"). How do I tell when a poem is ready to submit to a journal? How do I keep from becoming delusional about my abilities and turning into a crank? What if my poetry is "no good"?
I've been working on solving the traveling salesman problem using a genetic algorithm, but I've broken what I have so far (I haven't gotten to the "genetic" part yet). I put in debugging couts, and the program seems to be stopping as soon as it gets inside a certain function (LinkedListInts::insertAtHead). (The debugging feature of Dev-Cpp won't work for me. Any suggestions on that would be appreciated, but for now I'm just trying to get the program to work.) I'm sure this function used to work -- my program used to have a bit more functionality that it does now -- it actually ran. But I had to fix a mistake I made early on and then I got carried away making changes aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
This is not really homework. I'm just practicing. I want to get my master's in computer science (but I'm not a really solid coder!) So I need to practice.
