As the title says, I have a question about upcoming inheritance and how it relates to a pending divorce. Family member is inheriting a house from her mother's estate (still going through probate). She separated from her ex shortly after her mom's death and they're now in the process of getting a divorce. Question is, will the ex be entitled to any of her inheritance from mom? He isn't mentioned in the will or anything, just not sure if it's considered a joint asset if they separated after her mother passed but she doesn't actually have the property yet. This is in Nova Scotia if that helps. And they do have kids together but I'm not sure if that matters or not.

As the title suggests, wondering if a mackerel sky and fog can form on the same day? Writing a story set on Canada's East Coast and wondering if that combo of weather patterns in the same morning would seem strange/impossible. Appreciate any insight the good folks of Reddit might be able to share!
Folks in Toronto with tenant's insurance, do you have any recommendations? Open to brokers or standalone companies. Newish to the city and don't know who to go to / who to avoid.
Making my first drive from Toronto to Winnipeg in May for a family wedding. Just wondering what to expect from the Canada-side drive for anyone that’s done it before. Would you do the trip in 2 or 3 days that time of year? Any suggestions about where to stop, gas up, stay, etc. would be much appreciated. (Asking about the Ontario route only b/c I’m trans and travelling thru the US just isn’t an option for me right now.)
