So, to those who don't know, Versus was a pseudo Let's Play channel by JoshJepson and AttackingTucans, where they'd race through a game simultaneously to see who could get through the game fastest, all while cracking jokes and talking about the game like a normal Let's Play channel. The tone was very informal and conversational, much more like Game Grumps or Oneyplays than a focus on the game like you'd see in traditional Let's Players.

Versus was always part of TRG's community, with Josh being a main co-host alongside being the honourary 4th Runawayguy, AttackingTucans always showing up for the invitational tournaments and TRG Colosseum, Versus would often feature other people in TRG's c

Or even outright hated? People refer to him as this thing we don't talk about, and he had a crazy amount of dislikes on his reveal trailer, and loads of comments saying they hated it without really explaining why, despite him being one of the most beloved Nickelodeon characters ever.

I get it, there are some really obvious potential reasons why people wouldn't appreciate him:

  • He's pretty much a pacifist in the show and only fights when he needs to
  • His voice actor passed away not long before his reveal, which might make people feel uneasy about replacing him so soon
  • Avatar has plenty of representation, and Fire Benders especially didn't need another one

But I dunno. I feel like

So... I used to be a big Game Grumps fan who watched all three of their uploads every day! About 10 years ago I stopped watching after their Sonic Adventure playthough. I kinda felt like Arin's "I hate Sonic" schtick was getting out of hand, and the comments were taking it as a green light to bully Sonic fans (and the Leadfoot incident didn't help either)

But for Halloween this year I decided to go back and watch Game Grumps' PT playthrough! Even I can admit that only Game Grumps did that game justice for how creepy it is! Afterwards I noticed Arin and Danny had revisited PT to finally finish the game 10 years later, and I was surprised by how chill and funny it was! I also noticed they

(to watch, I'm not looking to set anything up)

What first got me hooked on YouTube way back in 2013 was the gamer scene. The idea of some nerd gushing over EarthBound, and getting as many people watching it as full TV shows and movies, was kind of the whole dream that YouTube was built off, and a perfect example of what they've left behind in the last few years.

Animations, funny game reviews, memes, stream highlights, and anything similar that you'd like to shout out, please let me know! Feel free to shout out your own channels and instas, I'm not fussy!

Since Oneyplays are dabbling in Tiktok and YouTube shorts, I don't see why they wouldn't try putting their longer series on Spotify as podcasts too.

I got curious and looked around Spotify, but it looks like there are only a few reuploads by fans. Personally, I feel like most people just use them as a podcasts for background noise or to fall asleep to anyway. Plus, judging by Zero Punctuation's presence on Spotify, it looks like they aren't as weird about swearing as YouTube, so maybe they wouldn't need as many monkey noises? I know Spotify don't have a great reputation for the money you make out of it, but it can't be as bad as constantly getting demonetised by YouTube, right?

For Real, Fuck Unreal

My Epic Experience

(Apologies in advance, but this is loooooooooooooong, so grab some popcorn if you're interested in a novel)

For all the shit Epic Games gets from this sub, I don't see anyone give criticism to the Unreal Engine. Could it be true that it's this diamond in the rough, good enough to redeem Epic Games, or is it that anyone who knows Epic Games well enough simply knows to stay away from it?

Well, recently through a series of unfortunate real life events, I found myself in the position of having to use the Unreal Engine for a week, and GOD do I need to rant about this.

Guess what? The only way you can even get Unreal Engine is through the Epic Games Launcher. You can't even download fr

Warning: This be loooooooooong

First off all, don't worry guys, this isn't the billionth "lol dead game" post! We've all seen a lot of these, and I feel the discourse has got so bad that you've got to defend it as the best game ever, or demonise it as the worst game ever! I'd like to remind everybody of the "It's a good idea but has problems" camp! Here are 6 things that I'd attribute to this game's small playerbase! Of these, there are only 2 problems that Ludocity can do much about, but if they get fixed, I'm still hoping and expecting this game to find its niche in the future, whatever that might be!

1: The lack of crossplay. Yeah, this is the big complaint on this sub. It doesn't f
