Anyone know when the city starts collecting yard waste in the spring? My bin is still full from fall.

I just upgraded to a Cellular Apple Watch for phone-free running. If I search in the Apple Music app it searches Apple Music, not my personal library. This is annoying cuz I like to listen to a lot of rap mixtapes that were never released to streaming when I work out.

I can scroll my library but it's huge so not really feasible to find what im looking for that way.

Is there any way to solve this? On the iOS and MacOS apps it gives you the choice to search Apple Music or your Library but I can't see that on the watch.

I am interested to grabbing a 42” c4 to use as a monitor for work. Wondering what a good target price is? I see some vendors listing it for $899 currently but it looks like on Prime Day it was $699? Should I wait a couple weeks for Big Deals Day?

Does anyone have recommendations for a good blue tooth speaker for hiking? I guess it should be light weight, have a clip so I can clip it to my bag, loud enough for me and my party to hear, rechargeable, maybe water proof? Curious what ya'll folks are using out on the trail!

I am setting up a new laptop for a new job and moving over to the new lazyvim defaults. I use Gruvbox Dark as my color scheme, and I find the directory prefixes in the new Snack file picker to be really hard to read (i.e. the `lua/plugins` and `queries/move` prefixes in this screen shot). Is there any way to configure this to make it more legible?

I finally got a job at an employer that isn't cheap as fuck and get to fly business class for the first time. DFW to Dubai.

What is appropriate to wear for sleeping on an overnight flight? I was gonna wear some nice heavy black cotton sweatpants that I own but my wife says that's gross and everyone will be staring at my johnson.

I worked at a F500 out of college, and then spent 10 years at one of the FANGs. At those two companies there was an annual PTO allotment and you were pretty much free to take it off however and whenever you wanted. Employees were just trusted not to negatively impact their teammates (i.e by taking the week of a launch day off without adequate coverage).

I have an old house with a 3 season porch. The floor joists extend from the house's foundation to a slab underneath the front wall of the porch, but underneath them is just empty space and dirt. There are no piers or posts supporting the floor.

I am a joist that rotted from ice dam leaks, and now that I am underneath the floor, I think a few areas could benefit from a little extra support. I was wondering instead if it would be feasible to use the pre-fabricated footings they sell at big box stores and if anyone has tips on how to install them? Do I just set the on the ground, stick a post in, and, then jack up the floor a bit to
