I know it seems obvious but you can be dumb sometimes.
I’ve used Airalo for 4ish years now. Never had a problem. On a recent trip to Japan for some reason my sim was active, I had signal, but the data just wouldn’t work. Couldn’t load web pages or anything.
As it turns out. In my haste to make damn sure I didn’t get data roaming charges on my home sim, I turned off data roaming on the Airalo sim. Doh. Turning it back on everything worked perfect.
With AirNZ airfares spiraling out of control (Especially to DUD), I've started looking at Jetstar flights. I've been burned plenty of times but at this point, some days I can get a flight for less than $100 whereas AirNZ can be over $500.
Reading other threads here, I can see people are confident of badgering Jetstar after a flight cancellation and getting them to pay up to 10x the ticket price to fly on AirNZ if the Jetstar flight is cancelled. But others say they've had to go through the ordeal of the disputes tribunal etc.
Another option I've briefly looked at, and want to see if anyone else has done it smoothly, is simply buying domestic travel insurance from someone like Southern Cr
The boys have to work out how to get the podcast on Spotify before the event they are talking about is even done. The "preview" show for Adesanya vs Imavov got uploaded yesterday, a day after the fight happened.
How hard is it for Bong Island Luke to not rip one right after the episode is done and push it to Spotify. I don't notice any editing what so ever, no timestamps etc. Just chop off the start of the podcast with dead air and we are good to go.
I'm somewhat perplexed how Outlier works specifically for the programming portion of the platform. I can see most people here talking about the general AI training (Which I also saw), but the programming side seems woeful thus far.
First, my background is as a C# web developer, 15+ years experience. Most platforms don't do C#, but they typically do Javascript/Typescript so I normally go for that. I'm mostly just interested in how the platforms work, it's not a money spinner or anything.
I applied for Outlier and to my surprise, when it asked what language I preferred, C# was in the list. So I selected that.
Then I had to do some sort of assessment as part of the application. I can't qu
A recent project has seen us introduce Azure APIM. Does what it says on the tin and allows us to create reusable policies across our platform, and then redirect those requests to Logic Apps, Functions, App Services, whatever etc.
Where things get slightly murky is on the pricing, and more specifically, how pricing works when VNet support is required.
I am basing most of this off this pricing page : https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/api-management/
Here we can see Pricing includes V1 and V2 pricing. If we look at V1, and assuming we required VNet support, we could use the Developer instance for non-production environments, and then you would basically be required to use t
Is there any way to stop the incessant crackling and buzzing without restarting the game with mods?
I've started playing with sound effects off, but there are some important audio cues you still need (For example when you need to break beams and you need to know how long you have to get to a certain point). The problem is, the BZZZ crackling sound that randomly happens is much louder than any other sound effect and it's driving me crazy...
I recently did the resmed take home test (Tape a sensor to your finger for 3 nights).
The results are here : https://imgur.com/a/dS6vNnP
One night in particular was quite "bad". 13 AHI, other two nights were less so.
I will say, the worst night in my view, did not record. When you wake up in the morning you have to use their mobile app to upload your results. If your app locks/goes to sleep while uploading (Because it takes a long time), then the app just freezes and you lose a nights data which is frustrating.
I'm seeing some absolutely wild AHI numbers here, so I'm wondering if this is within a normal range and if it's not worth a CPAP. I can hire a APAP/CPAP locally, so I figured
A friend of mine has had an interesting case come up with annual leave over the Xmas period and I’m struggling to know whether it’s legal simply because of the specifics.
The friend in question had 60 odd hours of annual leave accrued. They applied for 40 hours of annual leave over the Xmas period which was also the length of the mandatory shut down of the company.
Their salary payment over the Xmas period was huge, and when looking at their payment slip they are now negative 40 hours annual leave.
They were this week given the following reasoning.
- Each year the company clears everyone’s annual leave and pays it out in cash (not even sure if this part is legal given it’s more tha
I’m playing on Nintendo Switch, and I can’t for the life of me find Bulrush. I’ve unlocked the entire map except for an island I can’t get to.
The way I understood it, is that bulrush would grow near a body of fresh water somewhere on the map, on a swamp tile. But I cannot for the life of me find it and I’ve inspect every tile near water for the past 30 minutes.
What am I missing?
