Hi all! I have a movie scene very clearly in my head that I thought was from 1997's Titanic, but it looks like it's from another film. The scene I'm thinking of is very similar to the scene in Titanic where Victor Garber stops the clock and leans on the mantel, and for the longest time I thought my memory was of that scene. However, what I remember is the captain (or other high-ranking person on the ship) standing in front of a wall very solemnly, hands clasped behind his back, staring at a loudly ticking clock and waiting for the water to rush in on him - and then it does. Is this maybe from one of the other Titanic movies? Or another disaster movie? I want to say I've had this memory since

It's usually found in formal or academic writing... it's not "support" or "cosign". Something like "echoes"?

The context would be like: "The findings in this article [say the same thing as] this other article."

Hey all. I'm searching for a video that is from at least 2011 or earlier. I think it was a pretty typical CollegeHumor/Funny or Die/MagicHugs type video. I don't remember it very clearly but I think the premise was some kid talking about how badass he is when doing not-badass things? He says something like: "I go swimming right after I eat: I don't care". The line delivery on the "I don't care" is the part that has stuck clearly in my head. They might have edited that part and added some special effects. Thanks!

Hi all! Maybe you can help me. Like I said I completed all the next steps after passing my interview. Even though the webpage says they'll get back to you in 24 hours after doing this, I assumed that they have a high volume of applicants, and it might take a little longer. But then on Friday I got an email reminding me to finish my training... which I had already done days ago! I sent an email to [email protected] on Friday, as well as a follow up email last night, but I still haven't heard anything back. Is this normal? Is there maybe another email I could use to get in touch with someone? Thanks!

In the Angel season one episode "I've Got You Under My Skin" we are introduced to a little boy, Ryan, who is possessed by a demon, and that we later learn seems to have been born without a soul. From what I can tell this is the first time we're introduced to the idea that in the Buffyverse, it's possible for some humans to be born without a soul. It then got me wondering if we had met other human characters in the shows who might fall into this category and I instantly thought of Warren. I can't think of a single "good" action he is shown to take throughout the series. He is manipulative, selfish, cruel to his "friends", and murders without remorse. Could it be that Warren never had a soul t

This is a classical piece that was one of the pre-loaded songs on the Yamaha keyboard I had back circa 2000. I’ve sounded out the first lines of the melody of my keyboard. I obviously heard it played on a piano but maybe it’s more typically a violin piece? I’ve searched through the databases of Yamaha keyboards but obviously they don’t have a lot of data on their models from 20 years ago... TIA!

Most other artists people suggest for ES fans are other low key acoustic-y singer-songwriter types like Sufjan Stevens. But I LOVE XO, Figure 8, and FABOTH. Think Son of Sam, Bottle Up and Explode, Can't Make a Sound... omg, the coda at the end of Everybody Cares, Everybody Understands. Just like, explosions of melody and different sounds and textures. And in a way that doesn't feel too alternative; rather more classic and Beatles-y but... "bigger" feeling, almost orchestral. I really haven't heard any other music that makes me feel the way the songs I mentioned do. Any suggestions?

Age: 27 Height/Weight: 5'9, 200lb Location of complaint: Left side Duration: 1 day Medications: birth control, trazodone, bupropion Medial Conditions: Hashimoto's thyroiditis

A few weeks ago I had a cold and developed a severe sharp stabbing pain on my left side each time I inhaled. After a few hours the pain got worse so I went to the emergency room, as it's been drilled into my head that left side pain = heart attack. They did an ultrasound of my chest and a blood test and found everything to be normal except my D-dimer levels, which were at 657. They then did a CT scan and found no clots, so they concluded it was pleurisy from the cold and told me to take some OTC pain meds. My only ques

Hello friends! As usual we have another 90s movie question. I remember watching this movie in 4th grade which was the 2000-2001 school year for me, so the movie is from that time or before. I think the main character is a kid from the "normal" world who somehow ends up in some kind of medieval/fantasy world. The only real detail I remember, as it was quite traumatizing, is that there is a character who I think is supposed to be the kind of mentor/guide to the kid, and he is killed by having a sword go straight through his head. I believe the character was an older man with long white hair and he might have been Asian. Any ideas?
