Hello, does anyone have any recommendations of decent garages or other places that sell old used Cars that have been checked over properly as I’m looking for a little cheap but reliable run around ASAP.

I noticed today that the benches have been removed from outside here which seemed strange as they were up previously. Doe anybody know if it’s permanently closed?

Anybody know how long this takes once they send final bill? I received final bill a few days ago and assumed the deposit would instantly be returned to my bank but so far no sign of it.

Is it legal for the agent to charge for cleaning and painting even though when I moved in the apartment hadn’t been properly cleaned and wasn’t freshly painted? I had to pay for cleaning and I have added no additional damage to the walls of the apartment. Surely the tenant should not be responsible for such costs?

Hi is there anywhere you know of in JLT to dispose of unwanted clothes?

During Ramadan they put out massive containers all over for unwanted but useful clothing. I wish they’d leave them out all year round..

Seems a shame to just throw them out

Hey, just after some advice. I’m leaving my apartment later this year. When do I apply for the final bills? Dewa, empower. How long will they take to be issued? Do I apply the month before I move out? The week before?

Also the agent I’m dealing with is being very rude and barely answers my messages. I have a feeling I won’t get my deposit back, do they usually give it back the day you move out? Who do I complain to if I don’t get it back? Any little common scams I need to prepare for? Any tips to ensure I get my deposit back? Eg cleaning, checking All lightbulbs work etc.

I want to start my trip in that area but not sure which is best. I like nice coffee, food, beaches, beach bars, a mix of party and night and peace and nature during day.

I have one month in Bali in July. I love nature, diving, partying in cool and crazy bars rather than posh fancy clubs, vegetarian food, animals and beaches, sunrises and sunsets and the ocean....
