I wanted to give my parents a gift for their wedding anniversary. But the money I earned at my job wasn’t enough, so I was looking for ways to earn some extra cash, but I couldn’t find anything worthwhile just a bunch of junk. I tried a lot of things, but the only method that worked for me was the one shared by a guy on his profile (u/hmlangs). I managed to make almost $840 in two days using it. There's a downside, though this method will eventually stop working

Don’t take this as advertising, I’m just sharing my experience. Right now, I still need $1900 for the gift, and my goal is to earn that by the end of the week

Once again, huge thanks to the g

I'm noticing a ton of issues using Melodyne standard as a VST3 plugin in Live. For example changes in tempo would make the plugin stop transferring, and start playing backwards...

But now I'm noticing that when I freeze a track that has melodyne on it, it sounds different than when the track is unfrozen. There are a bunch of extra breath sounds and vocal stutters compared to the unfrozen track. I've isolated each track and tried to re-freeze each one, but the artifacts are the same each time and they persist any time the track is frozen.

This means I have to resample each unfrozen track instead of just flattening them. What should have taken no time at all is now going to take ~20 hours

We had new cabinets installed in our kitchen when we moved in, which are in 3 sections separated by the range hood and a breakfast counter. In each of the 3 sections, my father in law installed a 110V outlet so we could install undercabinet lighting in the future. I plan to install LED light strips that are dimmable on the DC side using a controller. I tested some lights in my office, the lighting temp is perfect, and they work exactly how I want them to.

Here's the problem. There is an LED ceiling light above the breakfast counter. All of the outlets inside the cabinets are daisy chained to that light, which operates on a simple switch.

The light itself is the same kind we use in the cei

The roofing crew just left after putting on a whole new roof on my townhome, and 95% of it looks great. But I have a low slope section where my lower roof meets my neighbor's unit. It used to be covered with a black sheeting material and I wanted it replaced. This morning, I found out they had no intention of touching it. I called the office and they agreed to replace it (as it was stated in the quote). The whole reason I chose these contractors was because the salesman was the only person to intelligibly address this section and say they would replace it the right way.

Here is what they did.

Am I crazy if I don't want to accept it the way it is? Here are my

And they "forgot" to send me the download and activation link for 2 days. Fair warning to anyone looking to take advantage of the sale, with a free upgrade to Live 11 on the horizon. I probably could have been recording for two days already if I had been more of a squeaky wheel (or if they had simply honored the deal in a timely manner).

Moved into our new townhouse in April, and had to have Comcast run a new cable line through the front wall. Right now, I have the cable trenched and it comes up out of the ground and goes into the wall through a grommet.

My main concern is that burglars or vandals could walk up and snip the cable before my doorbell camera even notifies me that someone is out front. My goal is to deter this and make my unit look like a worse target. Or at least make it so cutting the cable takes a few minutes and looks highly suspicious to my nosy neighbors.

My original idea was to run the coax through iron pipe as it comes out of the ground and a 90 degree fitting into the house. Then I thought I should us

My family just moved to Mount Laurel and we are doing a major purge of shoes and clothing as well as some kitchen items. I'd like to donate them rather than throwing them away but I want to support a good cause.

I'm wary of donation dumpsters since many of them are put out illegally and clothes are often shredded to use as rags. Goodwill is a good organization overall but I have heard shady stories about individual stores from people who worked there. Plus, no idea if they are open or taking donations.

Is there a better option? I have a trunk full of clothes and I'd love for it to go to a Veterans organization, support the homeless, or for COVID relief. Are animal shelters my only option b

I just bought a house and we're going through a kitchen remodel. We are also converting the dining room a home office and home recording studio.

Turns out the refrigerator shares a circuit with every outlet in the studio. I have heard that this causes issues, because every time the fridge compressor starts it causes a surge that translates to a *popping* sound on the monitors/speakers. I would hate to have takes ruined because someone opened the fridge and let warm air inside.

Right now the fridge is in another room, and there are several holes in the drywall and soffit already. I wanted to reroute the fridge outlet if I can since now would be the time to do it. It appears the dishwasher

My wife works for a very large global company, and she is being switched from salary pay to hourly pay. In the long run, this could benefit us since she'll be making more money when she works overtime (2x pay instead of straight pay, 4 hours per week).

However, they are switching her from semi-monthly pay (on the 10th and 25th) to bi-weekly pay. And her paycheck would not include the week she receives it since those hours haven't been logged by payroll yet.

This means that her first paycheck in december will be 3 days late (December 13th) and it will only be for 1 week of work instead of 2. Instead of $1600 she will get ~$800 - we are losing one weeks pay, just before Christmas.

This happened back when I was in college, but has always stood out as a moral conflict for me.

When I was a sophomore in engineering school, I had a professor that liked to play a game during class for extra credit on a test. The game was based on the "Hollywood Squares" TV game show, so my professor would ask a question, the person in the square would answer, and a contestant would agree or disagree that they got the question right. If the person in the square got it wrong but the contestant got it right, the person in the square would step down and the contestant would take their place. Earning points was based on how many consecutive right answers you got, and how long you spent in a squ

Ever since upgrading to Android 10 I've been getting these annoying push notifications to review the location settings of a particular app. They don't pop up when I'm using whatever app the notification is for, and it always takes me to the same screen.

How do i get these to stop?? Please help.

I know very little about jewelry, but I got married recently and spent a ton of time in Jewelry stores. A week before the wedding my wife made the spur of the moment decision to buy a Cultured Pearl bracelet from Kay Jewelers - I'm 99% sure this is the exact one based on the clasp and the price:

She rarely wears jewelry and would normally never splurge on something, but I encouraged her to do it. She deserves nice things. She wore it the day of the wedding, along with her grandmother's pearl necklace and a pair of pearl earrings I got for her.

The next day we had to rush to get out of the
