I have a motion sensor entrance light with gu-10 bulbs and would like to make it soft start, any advice? Would I need to put a capacitor inline?

Why the music in this game so sad? Compared to other games so sad and depress! Maybe take cues from eg Mario bros
Does the Logitech do this? I have a netatmo wired with just usb and want to switch it out, reason being the netatmo is terrible (stability, speed & storage)
I’ve got a pair of zefal lock n roll and really like their balance between security and simplicity; they’re quick release but have a bearing inside such that they can’t be freed while the bike is upright, however looks like they’re no longer made. Is there anything similar people recommend, as a convenient way to deter opportunistic theft?
I'm running rclone on AWS, in a kube cluster behind and NLB.
There are health checks (available/desirable) for each of those.
For kube healthchecks I can execute a command in the pod e.g. rclone lsd remote:
However for AWS, the target group's health checks can be TCP or HTTP(s).
I'm using TCP which checks connectivity; opens a TCP connection then just closes it (as if you netcat -z). This works but fills up the rclone logs with SSH login failed: EOF
I'm thinking one way around this, might be to run a sidecar container sftp-ing to rclone and serving HTTP /healthz but seems pretty cumbersome.
Has anyone solved similar? Is there any way to just squelch those logs? (they're ERROR lev
I've implemented auth on ALB per
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticloadbalancing/latest/application/listener-authenticate-users.html
The doc calls out "Note that standard libraries are not compatible with padding that is included in the Application Load Balancer authentication token in JWT format."
I just have to wonder why the hell this is; why implement something that doesn't conform to spec. I can validate with pyjwt, but nothing else that follows spec e.g. jwt.io, or noedjs middleware.
Anyone know of node libraries that are more forgiving like the pyjwt one?
The linter complains if they don't. But if the job's container has entrypoint script doing everything, with args passed in as environment vars, would it not be fine to have a job with no `script` or `trigger`?
I found a button that I interacted with, no obvious effect. On B2, the chest-height wall on SE side, on its E side behind one of the palms, anybody know about it?
Edit: I set Up a custom game to hunt it code aax2nz Here’s a photo of where it was, regretting not taking a photo before dumbly just pushing it (thereafter it vanished) https://imgur.com/a/Y0pjbYC
I’m setting up ALB Ingress controller with OIDC Auth from Google Workspaces as IdP, using e.g.
auth-idp-oidc
annotation.
It’s working well, except I can’t see how to limit access to only my org’s domain; it seems any google account (e.g. my personal one) can auth and access since the issuer is just `https://accounts.google.com\`
Do I need to do this in GCP “Oauth consent screen” setting User Type = Internal?
This may not be an option for us, since we need public users to be able to auth, for public-facing app, but some internal services accessed only by staff (currently done with Google IAP)
The goal is replace functionality of GCP IAP. Perhaps I'll need to run a proxy co
I was leaning back on a chair in the pub, with the front two legs off the ground, and a staff member told me not to, with unprecedented rudeness. I said I’m not sure you can mandate that, they got quite aggressive, and I said fuck it I’ll put the chair down. But the question is, can a venue mandate that?
Edit: Because of a lot of negativity around “mandate”, the question was “legally enforce”. Which I think has been answered. Kind of surprised there’s so much negativity here.
Having trouble getting Source Endpoints (Google Cloud SQL Postgres) to successfully Test.
The Endpoints are using Secrets Manager - an Endpoint created with the same credentials as in Secrets Manager, will Test OK.
Some Endpoints using Secrets Manager succeed, and some fail.
They both use the same IAM Role with policy allowing kms:Decrypt, kms:DescribeKey and secretsmanager:GetSecretValue
I'm seeing two types of error:
Error Details: [message=DMS Engine REST Client Exception. Session exception, new login was initiated, resubmit latest request, errType=, status=0, errMessage=, errDetails=]
and
`Error Details: [message=Unknown exception while calling 'Test endpoint' API, errType
