error code is 3 short 1 long

my furnace won't stay running. the burner turns on. after about 30 seconds, the fan turns on. another 30 seconds, the burner turns off. after about 2 minutes, the fan turns off. the furnace sometimes comes back on for round two and sometimes it doesn't.

I've confirmed there is nothing obstructing the intake on the outside of the house. I've cleaned off the flame sensor. I've turned the heat up to 80 in an attempt to get it to stay running.

any other troubleshooting steps I can take before calling a professional?

History: On 11/18 I woke up to find my cat's tail was limp. Over a 10 day period he was no longer able to jump onto furniture, had progressive hind leg weakness, and began walking with a limp. We saw 5 vets during this 10 day span. My cat had spinal decompression surgery for a herniated disk on 11/28. The neurosurgeon said there was a 50% chance of permanent tail paralysis.

While we do his daily physical therapy I do a tail check where I very gently poke or pet his tail to look for any type of function/movement. Over the past 3 days, I'm seeing that when I gently poke or pet his tail, he wiggles it eve

Looking for help since YouTube isn't returning a good result.

I need to remove the top window sash for glass replacement on a double hung window. There are no tilt latches. I am able to push up the bottom sash ~ 6 inches and pull the bottom sash out no problem.

I'm not sure how to remove the top sash though. Do I need to consider the balance and possibly damaging that? It looks like I have a channel balance system in the window based on a Google search. I can provide any additional information or pictures if needed.
