Is there a point where you play your avatar character starting at level 1 or are they just a high level character to use later.
I like training my characters into what I want vs a prebuilt high level character.

I have 2 mechanical problems with the game so far.
I have battle mode - Classic Camera set but I find when I select a command like attack for either Luminary or Erik they will target different enemies unless I manually swap the target
Is there no Toggle dash or anything? I don't want to hold down a button to dash all the time as it hurts my wrist.
I know the mod would make the game really easy, I did some searching and didn't see anything like this.
I want to be able to equip persona's on party members like Joker. Maybe you can't swap them in the battle, that is fine.
So I found a Pictos called "greater shell" Does that apply to the person applying the buffs or does the person receiving the buff need that Pictos assigned.
Is there a way to tell the duration of your own buffs during combat?
I don't see any way of determining if they are going to last 1 turn or 5 turns etc.
What are the best greatshields you have found so far, where did you find them?
Does the Sergeants buff for guaranteed critical give 100% accuracy? Been trying to figure out comps with mock battles. My 159 accuracy Bernegaria always hits my evasion tank 145 evasion (even through the combat previous states it's a 20% chance.
The only thing I can think of is the sergeant crit buff.
So I got the promo quest. I have liberated and did every side quest other than the sigils because I can't really find them.
How do I still need 300 renown to promo. All my units are level 16-17 and I have been fighting full enemy promo teams for a while.
Tossed Eirika on a great knight with a high leveled steel blade recently and her ult basically has been one shotting everything on maddening.
The dragons, Bosses anything. (Cav's get 50% bonus damage to the ult)
Not to mention while engaged you get all the passives from night and day making the unit a monster while engaged.
It was in the DLC area for tiki. Is this the only place that gives that many?
I wanted to make sure of Merrin in a magic class however you literally cannot do it because you have no way of getting staff or tome proficiency for quite a while. Thus you have what 5 or 6 chapters where she only gets 25% magic growth instead of 50%.
From what I can tell only Celica and Micaiah give those proficiencies.
It states grants Lvl+5. What the heck does that mean?
