Has anyone here sent their Child(ren) to Shining Star Daycare? I’m just looking to get more information about them as I cannot find a lot online. Thanks for the help

Picture this: It’s 0300. A 3 year old male presents in severe respiratory stress. Tripoding, stridor, sats in the high 80s. You fire the kitchen sink at them: dex, epi, high flow, antibiotics and the kid’s sats do not improve.

You are in a general Emergency Department that does not have ENT, they’re an hour away by ground. Anaesthesia is not in house.

You know when you go take a look at that airway it is going to be tight at best. So what are you going to do when this escalates to a cannot intubate cannot oxygenate scenario? Cut the neck? Call the priest?

I was just walking along the trail adjacent to the Northwest Arm listening to a podcast, completely spaced out, when all of a sudden I was hit in the face. I look up and there is this blonde haired woman in black sunglasses laughing along with a man and what appears to be a 12 year old girl? Behind is the guy/kid that hit me. He was roughly 10. I was completely flabbergasted. The parents kept laughing and walked away. I just stood there in a state of shock, expecting them to apologize but they just kept walking and laughing.

Anyways I hope that’s the weird experience of the day at point pleasant.
