OK so I have a handful of years of experience dming for my same age friend's, and I've played with a few older grognards but I am lost when it comes to trying to write something for a much older and very religious Father in law. I was thinking something super easy like Everybody is John to ease him in, simple rules, party game esque but still would dip his toes into the hobby. Does anyone have any short story ideas that would be fun? Other system recs?

Please comment, this is my first trade here and I want to do thing correctly. I believe rule 11 said I can ask for PayPal, good or services, or other gift cards so I might be open to other gift cards besides amazon if I have whatever it is local to me so feel free to ask!

Making a fantasy world where there aren't any normal creatures, instead all creatures are a blend of either 2 animals, or 1 animal and an element.

1.Snake Giraffe Rattle snake with neck the length of a giraffe 2. Air Bison ATLA style 3. Eagle Bear (owl bear that can fly / hunts ) 4.water rats, a sailors nemesis, squeezes through anything not water right to eat and spoil supplies 5.flame fish (breathes the oxygen made by boiling the water around it) 6. Bull Moose extra strong and aggressive moose with bull horns

Has anyone done, or does anyone know of, a write up of the different players their allegiances, both stated and actual, for all the major characters in the Pale Lights arc for the 13ths yearly test?

Hey I am trying to mod my sunless seas, but the instructions all include file paths that have " \LocalLow\Failbetter Games\Sunless Sea\ " but I own/downloaded the game through steam so my file path is something like- " steam\steamapps\common\SunlessSea "
I tried putting them there anyway but it seems like none of my mods are working.

The last 4-5 updates to the game start downloading and steam says they have downloaded 100% but it won't finish the download. it downloads, then verifies then pauses the download at 158.84 mb of 158.84 mb.
I did a search and others have had this problem but I can't find a solution.
Does anyone have suggestions?
(How i've gotten it to work in the past is completely uninstalling and reinstalling)
Things I've tried that didn't work so far-verifying the integrity of game files, verifying steam is up to date. I have ~400 gb of free space and a solid internet connection.

Hey, I have thoroughly beaten the game (I have all the new captain bonuses except 1) and I would like to download some new story content. (I would love recos) I found Sunless stories a modpack on Nexus Mods and followed the instructions but I don't think it is working, does anyone have any advice or other instructions?
Possible cause-the instructions don't mention steam at all, and I play the game off of that platform.
