We’re collaborating with Tesla to open charging for Rivian vehicles at more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers across The United States and Canada.

Starting as early as Spring 2024, we’ll offer an NACS adapter that allows you to charge at Tesla charging sites. In 2025, Rivian will incorporate NACS charge ports as standard in R1T and R1S, and offer a corresponding CCS adapter. No matter which charging port is built into your Rivian vehicle, you’ll soon have access to over 25,000 DC fast chargers spanning Rivian Adventure Network, Tesla Superchargers and other third-party CCS networks.

I somewhat understand the reasoning on not having CarPlay integration (though from the reviews I’ve seen the in built navigation is…lacking) and I’m ok with that.

What I would like to know is can you say “Alexa play x on Apple Music” and have it do so, like any standard Alexa device?

Trying to get this plug disconnected and I just cannot figure out where the release tab is. It seems to be underneath, but I’m unable to access. Guidance appreciated.

My car has been with Tesla service for a couple weeks now (an observation that turned into a major issue, and a dying 12v battery).

Tesla app has it in service mode, but good old TeslaMate is still tracking it and I noticed a couple days ago it was starting to lose charge very quickly. It’s sitting with the windows open, and presumably the key, making it stay online continuously.

Cut to yesterday and it was at 0%.

I’m curious what the long term effects are going to be, if any, on the battery pack?

EDIT: Was able to get the car plugged in so shouldn’t be a big issue, I hope.

Have a flight booked with them for a trip to England in December that we booked at the start of the year. As the travel restrictions are still in place we’ve decided to cancel.

Called Kayak and they will not cancel the ticket or refund our payment! I tried to have my concern escalated but was told in no uncertain terms that there was no escalation available and no possibility to cancel my tickets. So basically it looks like i set fire to a pile of cash as I have no recourse to get any of it back and we will not be traveling.

Suffice to say the last time I’ll be using Kayak.
