We have a 10:00 a.m. embarkation time...(I know, I know...it was my husband's idea!) how early can we drop our bags and start working our way through the lines?

Going on a 7-night cruise to Alaska with an additional 2 nights on a cruise tour for a total of 9 nights. Will I earn 7 or 9 C&A points?

My friend and I booked an Alaskan cruise for May 2024. She planned to share a cabin with her sister and I'll be sharing a cabin with my husband. We both bought travel insurance through RCI. Final payments have not been made. My friend died yesterday.

My husband and I still plan to go on the cruise. I have questions about my friend's reservation. Can the sister keep the reservation and add another travel companion, or can other family members reassign the reservation for themselves?

Is it correct to assume that if the decision is made to cancel the reservation, RCI will refund all money paid on my friend's reservation?

Everybody says cruisers need to fly in a day early to assure they don't miss the boat. I get the logic of that.

But I booked my flights via Air2Sea and was only offered same day flights. Should I be concerned?

The section and seats I preferred for the first 2 seasons are now Reserved seats and more than doubled in price. My budget will relegate me to the General Admission seats. Maybe not bad...but not where I wanted to be.

I don't understand how we're supposed to commit to season tickets without seeing the schedule first. Aurora's FAQ's response to potential scheduling conflicts: "...you'll likely be able to find someone who would love the opportunity to attend an Aurora game" is a really poor response.

As a community owner, I'm pretty disappointed. The magic is gone...I wished it could've lasted a little longer.

Husband and I are going on a 7 night northbound Alaska cruise tour with additional nights in Denali and Anchorage. My question is: are the land days similar to the ship days where we can schedule our own excursions within a set time frame, or will most of our time be occupied by guided bus and rail tours?

Also...similar question. When we disembark in Seward, will we immediately catch up with the land tour guide or will we have time to explore on our own before that?

Thanks in advance...and if you can point me to internet sites that provide more info regarding the land part of the trip, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi...long time sarcoidosis patient here. I have it in my lungs, lymph nodes, skin, skeleton and spleen. Of course, I'm always paying attention to other potential symptoms.

Today I experienced burning and blurry eyes when I walked out into the sunshine. It settled down after a short while but got so bad later while I was driving, I had to pull over and switch driving with my husband. Been home for a couple of hours and my eyes are still burning but not all that blurry.

Does this sound like ocular sarcoidosis? Could it come on suddenly like this, or is it more likely to be seasonal allergies? Ive had slight sinus issues in the past related to allergies but never anything too concerning.

Going to Art-A-Whirl on Saturday. I'm thinking about starting out at the Northrup King Building. Is there adequate parking nearby or is it better to shuttle from someplace else? I can walk a couple of blocks...but not much more than that. TIA!

For over a year now, I've been buying gas at the Costco Business Center. Every time, when I'm driving west on Broadway...and just before Stinson, my Android Auto connection disconnects. Every time...in the same place.

Does anybody know why?

Husband and I have been on a many year journey of getting to all the MLB ballparks...yes, we're old. We've been to 34 so far (many duplicates as new stadiums have been built)...with 4 to go. This year we will be at the Marlins home opener on March 30. 🙂

Friday, March 31st, we will be going on a Caribbean cruise leaving from Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale. Our scheduled ship boarding time is 11:00 am.

I'm looking for recommendations on whether we should book a hotel in Miami or Fort Lauderdale. We will have a car but would also consider public transportation (train) to the ballpark instead of driving/parking. I appreciate any recommendations on how to navigate the logistics.

Husband and I (late 60's) will be cruising on Vision in late March. One stop is Labadee. I was there in 2003 when it was little more than a beach and a picnic pavilion. Seems the options have expanded a lot since then.

I'm getting a lot of RCCL emails to book Labadee excursions...they're either too expensive (beach beds, cabanas, beach chairs) and/or too adventurous (zip line, jet ski) for us. My question is: if we get off the ship in Labadee without booking an excursion, will we be able to find a place just to sit and relax?

Thank you in advance. Looking forward to our cruise!

Just discovered people are wearing owner's shirts. I'm confused. I'm a community owner, have been to all of the games and never heard a thing about them. How did I miss this?
