NVIDIA G-SYNC Broken

Technical Issue / Question

Haven't seen any other discussion on this, wondering if anyone else is experiencing what I'm seeing.

So I have a 4090 connected to an LG C2 (G-SYNC compatible). And using the recommended settings for G-SYNC: G-SYNC On and v-sync On in the NVIDIA Control Panel, and v-sync off in game. In other games this results in a variable frame rate with no vertical tearing.

But when I run Diablo IV, the framerate is locked at 59 fps as if in-game v-sync is on. If I turn off v-sync in the control panel, then sure enough the framerate is no longer locked, but I'm seeing vertical tearing. Seems like a bug in the games video settings (along with the no exclusive full screen option).

My James Hardie irrigation controller circa the 90s just fried itself so I’m wondering if it or it’s transformer were the problem or if it’s something in the wiring.

The controller hadn’t been working right for a while; I wasn’t able to manually start any zones, and the display was flashing which the manual says is either an overload or a short somewhere. Then I noticed it getting extremely hot to the touch (the transformer as well), and after a couple days unplugged I plugged it back in and immediately saw smoke start coming out.

I checked resistance of all the zones and they all seem normal. So it sounds like the transformer just went bad. The controller was unfused, so not totally sur

I'm looking to upgrade the 256GB SSD in my early 2013 macbook pro retina 15" (A1398). There are more options available than I originally would have thought.

I know some of the options include:

I'm personally not really a fan of the Safari View inside the app. It seems like most of the time I either end up opening the link in the Safari app (and have to use the Safari View in between), or I forget that I'm using Narwhal's Safari View and go to hit the location of Safari's pages/tabs button which is the "Open in Safari" button.

Anyway, I think it would be nice to have an option to just disable the Safari View, so that "Open in Safari" actually opens the link in a new tab in the Safari app, and the "Return to Narwhal" option gets added in place of the carrier information like many apps do.

I've seen a lot of people assume the iPhone upgrade program is a lease, like I've seen many people confuse carrier finance programs with lease programs. It's especially confusing because of the option to trade in the phone and upgrade after one year. It also doesn't help that some carriers, such as Sprint, offer both a financing program and a lease program simultaneously. But just because there's a trade in option does not mean it's a lease. Apple's terms for the iPhone Upgrade program clearly use "financing" and "loan".

That means the day you pick up the phone it's your property, not Apple's, and not some financial institution's. After 12 payments you have the option of trading in the phon

[REQUEST] View History

Feature Request

Alien Blue is a specialized browser, like any other browser doesn't it make sense to have a history?

It seems I fairly often want to retrieve something I remember viewing but didn't think to hit save, and digging through links to find it is a pain.

Then there are times when the app crashes or gets closed in the background and the app opens up to a refreshed front page, making it difficult to retrieve recent links.
