So I'm trying to setup my new zwa-2 device using the portable wifi mode as covered here:
https://toolbox.openhomefoundation.org/home-assistant-connect-zwa-2/install-portable/
https://community.home-assistant.io/t/connect-zwa-2-anywhere-use-z-wave-over-wi-fi-or-poe/940021
I got the firmware installed, got it connected to my wifi and it is auto discovered by the ESPHome integration. But that's as far as I get, the z-wave device isn't auto discovered after that.
Not really sure how to troubleshoot from here, any suggestions? New to ha but not hacking on puters.
Hey y'all, hoping someone can help with a little wiring advice for this heat pump and air handler combo (Midea rebadged, sold by multiple companies).
Just had an old carrier heat pump system replaced with these new ones, and the installers left the old wiring in place, 6 wire 24v from t-stat to air handler and 6 wire 24v from air handler to pump. My current t-stat is a 1st gen Nest but I plan to grab an ecobee premium in the near future.
I've seen plenty of advice on the net saying the pump and air handler should be hooked up with 2 wire serial RS485 so they can communicate. My installer (and even his Carrier tech rep) are telling me running it with 24v is fine because the pump control boa
Hey guys, made a color correction profile for my LeGo using a ColorMunki Display and DisplayCal. Figured I would share with the class.
Accurate baseline was achieved with backlight set to 34 and AMD driver color temperature set to 5700, screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/veUney4

Ordered this case but ended up returning my Ally. Just want it to go to a good home, buy me some beer if ya feel like it ;)
I hope he is at least considered.
I had been put on the upgrade list a few weeks back and had called in a few times since to check status. Just got called back by Ziply customer service to setup an order for a Gig upgrade. Sounds like they may have finally enabled upgrade for existing customers.
Just an FYI to those out there waiting for any news like I was...
My friend had her almost brand new Civic side swiped by an oncoming SUV while stopped at traffic light, driver took off but left behind part of their bumper. Hoping someone can help identify make/model. Impact was front left (drivers side) of the SUV to the front left of the Civic.
Best guess so far is a Ford Escape from the body shop guys, painted bumper with metallic paint, but if anyone can say so definitively that would be awesome. Can take more pics if needed.
