Question came up during this weekend's game: Jupiter brain (Thunder's Edge legendary planet ability) states "You may exhaust this card at the end of your turn to perform 1 action." This had two interpretations, I couldn't find a definite clarification online.

  1. The planet ability allows you to perform the action without a token, thus making it better than fleet logistics.

  2. The planet ability allows you to do another action, but you still place a token if that action is a tactical action, making it quite similar to fleet logistics.

I did read the other reddit thread about uses of Jupiter brain and notes about timing windows (fleet saying during your turn you get two actions, Jupiter bra

Use: personal, hanging on wall in my house

Size: large. Maybe 3'x2' or 4'x3'

Media: up to the artist. Expecting digital but would be happy to entertain other mediums

Budget: rough estimate up to $750. Amount willing to pay may differ based on media (higher if physical painting)

Deadline: nothing in particular, we will discuss. Sooner rather than later but willing to wait for quality work.

Information: Twilight Imperium is an epic board game that my wife and I are a huge fan of. We want a large piece of art for our board game room that depicts this.

There is a ton of official art for the game to draw inspiration from.

I'm trying to set up basic level 1 charging in my garage - the cable is too long, laying on floor looks messy and easy to trip on. I was hoping for a retractable spool to wind most of the cable, pull it out for charging, yank it to retract back into the spool. Anyone have suggestions?

I looked at things like this but I'm not sure if you can put a different cable into the housing.

Or ideally something that could be roof mounted, attach a stopper at a position along the cable t

Hi, I'm struggling to wire a 3 way dimmer to my basement. Have done several other Kasa switches including 3 ways and dimmers, but no 3 way dimmers.

Previous arrangement: there's a Lutron switch at the bottom (I didn't set this up and don't have a Lutron hub). At the top there is a normal flip switch. It seems wired wrong - if the lutron switch at the bottom is turned off, the top switch doesn't work.

Top switch:

  • Two brass screws across from each other, travelers going in either side. Black and red wires, bundled together in the box
  • Black screw to single black wire, presumably the load.
  • Neutral bundle unattached
  • Ground wire present.

I'm looking to get a board game table and would much rather work with a local builder/woodworker than buy a mass produced one. What do you think is the best way to do this? Craigslist? Local facebook groups? Philadelphia area if that helps.
