Just had my decompression 3 hours ago and it went great! Recovering in ICU and surprisingly feeling good! Things are looking up! Thanks everyone for the well wishes!

Hello, for those who have had the decompression surgery. As far as the Dural patch, it seems the surgeon I am leaning towards for the surgery uses fascia lata (I believe), a piece from the leg, as the patch material. I've read plenty about what to expect as far as recovery for your head/neck area. But am wondering if anyone elses surgeon used this technique with them and how recovery went. How is your leg now? How long after surgery we're you walking, etc?
This is for a friend coming from the console world who has a budget of around 600 dollars and wants to play games like Titanfall, Age of Empires/Mythology, Civ, DayZ. Would like to go with an intel/geforce combo. Wont be bothering with overclocking or anything, but he wanted a case with a window in it. He also has a keyboard, but needed a mouse. This is the closest to 600 I could come up with.
