Here is another hot take! So many people (including a few PBA players) are complaining about how the lanes get harder for them after urethane transition (or any transition really that doesn’t benefit them). When ever in sports is it the responsibility of your competitors to make the playing environment better for you personally? “You’re breaking down the lanes wrong.” “Don’t use urethane because it makes it harder to strike for me.” “Following Belmo with reactive burns the lane up and makes it harder for me.” “My A game isn’t working because all these bowlers are creating transitions right where i want to play.” Quotes like these blow my mind! You should have ZERO expectation that the

Before we rush to ban urethane, let’s look at the real issue. Urethane isn’t our biggest problem — it’s the environments we create that reward its dominant use. Bowlers should always use the ball that gives them the best motion for the pattern they’re on. That’s the name of the game. If urethane is dominantly used, it’s because the environment rewards it. We already accept that different oil patterns challenge different styles and equipment use — short oil, long oil, flat, blended. We don’t ban the implementation of some patterns because they’re hard for some or because certain type balls don’t roll so well on those patterns. We expect bowlers to adjust, learn, and improve. Why can’t we ta
I'm trying to use the multi-thickness shell on a body without removing a face. I can get it to work with uniform thickness, but no dice for the multi-thickness. This is a multi body part, if that matters. Any thoughts?
Looking for a way to control the electrical system via the water system, something like a float switch. I'm new to this, but having looked through the components nothing seems to interact with both systems except the water pump/switch. However, I need something to measure the water level in a container and nothing appears to do that. Any ideas?
Does anyone know how to add multiple offsets to the leader of an ordinate dimension? I would like to jog around a feature, but can't find a way to do it.
Does anyone know of a 2D software package, other than AutoCAD, that can create dynamic blocks? I saw that DraftSight can now handle dynamic blocks, but I can't find anything about creating them.
It's been almost 20 years since my last confession and I'm looking for a little guidance. I might have a chance to go to confession this Friday so I've been trying to think of my sins. I was told to check out the examination of conscience in the Laudate app. It's been very helpful in remembering things that I've forgotten about. The only issue is that there are so many things that I have done that I can't remember them all. Would it be wrong to use my phone and just read what the app says or should I try to remember everything I can and go that route?
