"Shoot the fucking dog! Not me!" - wounded officer, most likely.
"I don't have to outrun Kujo, just you" offending officer probably
Fuck yeah, some justice for the canine homies.
Fuck off, shitbag, a man was shot. He has a family, a life. He is not defined by the uniform or the actions of other officers. Your celebratory attitude over his circumstances is despicable.
He is not defined by the uniform or the actions of other officers.
He sure is. That's literally what a uniform is for, to define you by the standards of all who wear it.
So military uniform represents the people who wear it, not the Constitution or country or individual branches creeds? Wrong.
He does not define the uniform, the uniform is representative of a standard to which the individual wearing it is held. You can't judge all by the corrupt actions of a few.

"large dog", so anything bigger than a chihuahua?
Even Chihuahuas are not safe.
Holy crap. What did I just watch?
A cop in fear for his life. AKA "Respect My Authority!"
Man, I know it'd be the end of me, but I love my dog tremendously. I don't know how I would react if she were shot, but I think that might flip the switch for me to do something stupid. Hopefully it never happens.
My miniature Dachshund wouldn't stand a chance.
