Why does there seem to be a double standard with how Dubois's trade request has been seen vs how Tkachuk's request to leave Calgary is seen? Today, I don't think many would fault Tkachuk for what he did, yet Dubois seems to get universally criticized for doing the same thing, called a "baby", "whiny", etc.

Their situations are also quite similar as both Tkachuk and Dubois made the requests at times where their current teams could leverage their rights to get returns. In fact, Dubois gave the Jets even far more time / notice to get a deal done (Tkachuk and Flames contract talks broken down over the summery and within days he had requested a trade and was shipped out).

As well, we now know

"Gain 20% additional Maximum Life while in Werebear form and for 3 seconds after leaving Werebear form.

While Healthy, deal 30% increased damage."

The text for the skill is separated into different paragraphs so it's left me wondering: does the 30% bonus when healthy apply in general or only in werebear form?

Was wondering what everyone's experience has been in trying to keep a healthy work life balance working a 9-5 office job when you have to mask the entire time. Do you have tips or advice you can share?

By the time I get home, I am extremely drained and tired from masking all day that I have no energy to do hobbies, make a proper meal, chores, etc. Luckily, my office is hybrid so I am not in every day of the week, but it adds up over the course of the week when you account for the masking done in virtual meetings (having a camera on the whole time for those is overwhelming). At the moment, I try to minimize the amount of meetings as much as possible when I can, only booking them with ot

Long story short, my parent's dog (our family dog, who is 9) is staying with me in my apartment tonight and tomorrow. He's only ever been both (a) separated from both my parents, AND (b) not staying in their house at the same time.

I'm separately trying to get him to settle in for the night, but his separation anxiety is really high right now.

It's stressful and I feel bad for him. I've tried to make him feel at home. He has his bed, blankets, toys, but he just can't seem to be at ease. I've tried treats, calming music, petting/saying soothing things, took him for a 45min walk, following the wind down routine he has at home, but nothing seems to be working.

Any time I think I am making p

I was wondering if anyone could provide some details about their experience.

I take both Concerta and Wellbutrin at 8am before the work day starts (I work 9-5 usually). They work pretty well for those 8 hours, so it's been a big help in making work a smoother experience.

Unfortunately, by 5pm they've sorta worn off (I guess I'm also just tired from the work day too) and crash a bit and my motivation is sapped. The result is basically that I can be productive during work day, but after work is over, it's a real struggle to get stuff done.

This has meant my weekends have become dominated by trying to catch up on all the stuff I had meant to do but had not been able to get to during the work

I never realized how complex mattress shopping could be until I got to this sub, and I kinda feel a bit lost in this new world, so any advice would be appreciated.

I don't need anything fancy (like ones that can raise themselves up and all that), but something that'll be reasonably priced/fair value and get the job done for my boxspring+innerspring mattress.

Is maybe grabbing one of Ikea's models, like the Malm/Hemnes/Songesand models, my best route? I'd like something with space underneath to take advantage of some extra storage space in the apartment.

What sort of frames should I be looking for to pair with a boxspring/innerspring mattress set? (do you need a specific type of frame for

An interesting tidbit included by Friedman. An interesting connection and it's good to hear they were keen on him. He also noted that the Chiarot trade likely just raised market prices for defencemen, which would be good news if one of our division rivals (Toronto?) has to overpay for a guy like Lindholm or Giordano.

He also mentions:

I was wondering if anyone out there had any advice about how to cope with being stuck living at home and with being "trapped" around their parents all the time.

I'm a recent university grad (right at the start of the pandemic) and like a lot of young professionals, have been in a position of living at home with my parents. After 2 years of being constantly around them — and very recently discovering that so many of the difficulties I've experienced can be traced back to emotional neglect— I have found it incredibly suffocating to be at home. The problem is, financially it is just not viable for me to move at the moment (I am hoping that soon another job opportunity will open up and I'l
